Bayelsa State governor, Henry Seriake Dickson has congratulated Senator<\/p>\n
Ben Murray-Bruce on his 60th birthday anniversary describing him as “a
\ngift to Bayelsa State and the Ijaw nation.”<\/p>\n
The governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel
\nIworiso-Markson and made available to journalists on Saturday in Yenagoa
\nsaid the innovative and creative talents of Bruce have in the last three
\ndecades opened a positive chapter for Nigeria in the encyclopaedia of
\nglobal entertainment literature.<\/p>\n
Dickson said, “On behalf of the government and people of Bayelsa State, I
\nwish to felicitate with one of our own, one in whom we are so pleased as a
\nState and as a people, Distinguished Senator Ben Murray Bruce, who is
\narguably the doyen of show business promotion in Nigeria and beyond, an
\naccomplished administrator and media tycoon of inestimable disposition, on
\nthe occasion of his Diamond Jubilee celebration.<\/p>\n
“Distinguished Senator Murray-Bruce, you are indeed a rare gem and a gift
\nto Bayelsa State and the Ijaw nation. Your innovative and creative talents
\nhave in the last three decades projected the people and cultures of our
\nland to the world stage. Today, things that were thought to be exclusive
