{"id":46827,"date":"2016-02-24T21:53:08","date_gmt":"2016-02-24T20:53:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=46827"},"modified":"2016-02-24T21:53:08","modified_gmt":"2016-02-24T20:53:08","slug":"oyegun-hails-buhari-quality-cabinet-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/oyegun-hails-buhari-quality-cabinet-members\/","title":{"rendered":"Oyegun Hails Buhari Over Quality of Cabinet Members"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Muhammadu Buhari has been commended for the quality of cabinet<br \/>\nmembers he has appointed to drive the Change Agenda of the Federal<br \/>\nGovernment.<\/p>\n<p>Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the National Chairman, All Progressives Congress<br \/>\n(APC), made the commendation <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1397611598\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Wednesday<\/span><\/span> in Abuja when he received the<br \/>\nFCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello who paid him a courtesy visit.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the calibre of appointees like the FCT Minister would move<br \/>\nthe Federal Capital Territory to enviable heights considering his<br \/>\npedigree.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe economy of the country was plunged into a sorry state by the previous<br \/>\ngovernments. \u201cThis is in addition to the down turn of oil price, which has<br \/>\nremained the nation\u2019s major source of revenue thereby making things very<br \/>\ndifficult,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>Oyegun pointed out that if previous governments had diversified the<br \/>\ncountry\u2019s economy all these years, the situation would have been better<br \/>\ntoday. He commended the FCT Minister for the visit, saying it was<br \/>\nnecessary for the party to rub minds with all stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>He assured that the APC would work closely with the FCT Minister and the<br \/>\nFCT administration to take Abuja to the next level. On the forthcoming FCT<br \/>\nArea Councils\u2019 election, the National Chairman promised to support the FCT<br \/>\nChapter of the APC to deliver the Councils to the party.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed the need for teamwork among party faithful to ensure that the<br \/>\nAPC emerge victorious in the elections.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking earlier, the FCT Minister promised to work closely with the party<br \/>\nin his efforts to deliver the desired Change Agenda of the Federal<br \/>\nGovernment.
