Business mogul and billionaire, Chief Sonny Odogwu, Ide of Ahaba, has<\/p>\n
thrown his weight behind the staging of Nigeria\u2019s Orange Beauty
\nPageant-The Face of Nigeria, accepting to be the Chairman of the pageant\u2019s
\ngrand finale, scheduled for September this year, a statement signed by
\nAyoking Ayelade, Pageant Director has said.<\/p>\n
\nOdogwu gave his acceptance during a meeting with the officials of the
\npageant who met with him at his residence in Asaba, the Delta State
\ncapital.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have accepted to be the chairman of your grand finale. You have my
\ntotal support\u201d, he told the officials who were in Asaba in preparation for
\nthe South South zone two screening of The Face of Nigeria, fixed for April
\n30, 2016.<\/p>\n
The Billionaire business mogul also granted his approval for the screening
\nexercise to take place in his hotel, Grand Hotel Asaba, and asked the
\nmanagement of the hotel to support the organisers to ensure a successful
\nexercise.<\/p>\n
The Face of Nigeria is the World\u2019s first Orange beauty pageant to be so
\ncreated. While the theme of the 2016 edition of the pageant is
\n\u201cCelebrating the bests of Nigeria\u201d, the charity focus is on the promotion
\nand advancement of the rights of the Nigerian Girl-Child to be educated.<\/p>\n
All the prizes to be won are scholarship funds. The star prize is a brand
\nnew car with N200, 000 per month scholarship money for one year. The
\nsecond prize is N150, 000 per month for one year, while the winner of the
\nthird prize would be paid N100, 000 monthly for one year. The entry forms
