{"id":49493,"date":"2016-05-23T00:51:04","date_gmt":"2016-05-22T23:51:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=49493"},"modified":"2016-05-23T19:59:53","modified_gmt":"2016-05-23T18:59:53","slug":"gov-okorocha-apc-not-managing-victory-well","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/gov-okorocha-apc-not-managing-victory-well\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov Okorocha: APC Not Managing Its Victory Well"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9286\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9288\">Worried by the growing disenchantment with President Buhari&#8217;s toxic presidency and the implication<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9289\">\u00a0 <\/span>for the party, Chairman of the All Progressive Congress Governors&#8217; Forum and Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, weekend, expressed reservations that APC was not managing its victory well.<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9290\">He said the party was a good party but regretted the poor management of its success at the polls. \u201cMake no mistake about it, All Progressives Congress is a good party, by all standards but my regret is that we are not managing our victory very well&#8221;, he said.<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9291\">Speaking in Owerri, Governor Okorocha, however, expressed optimism that President Buhari would succeed even as he was quick to reassure Ndigbo that the<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9292\">\u00a0 <\/span>President Buhari administration was determined to take care of their interests.<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9293\">\u201cI have no doubt in my mind that the old man (Buhari) will succeed. All I pleaded with Buhari to capture in the current fiscal year, are in the budget. I want to assure Ndigbo that all that are due to us will definitely get to us\u201d, he said<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9294\">On the new pump price<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9295\">\u00a0 <\/span>of premium motor spirit<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9296\">\u00a0 <\/span>which prompted<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9297\">\u00a0 <\/span>the face-off between labour and government,<span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9298\">\u00a0 <\/span>the governor said he was in full support of the deregulation of the oil sector of the nation\u2019s economy.<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463950519008_9299\">\u201cI support the deregulation of the oil sector of the nation\u2019s economy. I also believe in concessioning government parastatals and agencies. Nothing established by government has ever worked in Nigeria.
