Rampaging Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), have rubbished media reports that
\nthe two suspects Christian Oluba alias Sensor, and Selky Kile Torughedi
\narrested by the DSS were alleged members of the militant group.
\nBesides, NDA reiterated that the Nigerian government would neither arrest
\nany of its members nor win the war in the Niger Delta region and advised
\nthe military against using propaganda by to justify their huge security
\nvotes.
\nNDA described the reports as laughable, maintaining that the suspects were
\ntruly agents of the DSS sent after the Niger Delta Avengers.
\nThe militant group stated that the suspects were arrested because they
\ndemanded for their money from DSS and urged the security agency to pay
\nthem instead of arresting and labeling them as Niger Delta Avengers
\nmembers.
\nThis is contained in a statement by its spokesperson, \u2018Brigadier General\u2019
\nMudoch Agbinibo.
\nIt challenged DSS\u00a0 to allow the suspects to speak to the press\u00a0 if it was
\ndenying\u00a0 that the suspects were not its \u2018\u2019sleepers\u2019\u2019.
\nThe statement reads in part: \u2018\u2019Reports from National dailies that two
\nsuspects Mr Christian Oluba alias Sensor, and Selky Kile Torughedi
\narrested by DSS are alleged members of Niger Delta Avengers\u00a0 is laughable,
\nthe fact is they are sleeper agents of the DSS sent after the Niger Delta
\nAvengers.
\n\u2018\u2019The boys have the right to demand for their money from DSS, why not pay
\nthem instead of arresting and labeling them as Niger Delta Avengers
\nmembers?
\n\u2018\u2019If DSS are denying this, let them allow the suspects to speak to the
\npress. We (Niger Dleta Avengers) don\u2019t have any connection with these
\nboys. We dare the DSS to allow the boys to tell the world their side of
\nthe story.
\n\u2018\u2019DSS and Nigeria Army can\u2019t win the Niger Delta war by feeding their
\nPresident with false information about situation of things in the Region.
\nIt\u2019s all-good because as it seems the DSS is now having internal crisis
\nwith most of their sleeper agents and it a sign that God is on our side.
\n\u2018\u2019There are problem in the Niger Delta region such as underdevelopment,
\nenvironmental degradation, lack of infrastructure and the issue of
\nself-determination. These are the areas Mr. President should focus on, not
\narresting their allies and linking them to Niger Delta Avengers.
\n\u2018\u2019This is to DSS Director Lawal Daura, this the holy month of Ramadan and
\nas a Muslim you hold it to Allah and the Nigeria people to say the truth.
\nWhy not come out with the truth.
\n\u2018\u2019To the Nigeria press, there is always two sides to a story.\u00a0 Why not try
\nto get the other side of the story by interviewing the boys
\n\u2018\u2019The Nigeria army will never get us (Niger Delta Avengers), let them go
\nand settle with their sleeper agents and stop deceiving the general public
