Former President Goodluck Jonathan had a closed door meeting with
\nPresident Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock villa, Abuja.<\/p>\n

Jonathan reportedly arrive the villa at 2 pm Wednesday, after the
\npresident presided over a Federal Executive Council meeting.<\/p>\n

The former President did not answer questions on the ongoing
\nanti-corruption war of the present administration which has led to the
\ninvestigation and prosecution of many of his aides.<\/p>\n

During an interview with State House correspondents after he met with
\nPresident Buhari behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja,
\nJonathan said it would not be appropriate for him to speak on the matter
\nbecause many of the cases were pending in court.<\/p>\n

He however said the meeting which lasted less than 20 minutes afforded him
\nthe opportunity of briefing Buhari of his recent international engagements
\nand future ones.<\/p>\n

On the renewed violence in the Niger Delta, Jonathan said it was
\nappropriate for him and traditional rulers in the area to mediate in the
\nmatter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
