A former Prelate of Methodist Church of Nigeria, Dr. Sunday Ola Makinde,
\nhas said that Nigeria might soon explode under the leadership of the All
\nProgressive Congress (APC) administration led by President Muhammadu
\nBuhari.<\/p>\n
He said the APC is not fit to lead Nigeria, warning Christian members of
\nthe National Assembly to stay away from the issue of Sharia Law and the
\nGrazing Bill.<\/p>\n
The Cleric spoke to journalist at a meeting of retired Christian leaders
\nof major denominations in Nigeria facilitated by El-Rehoboth Global
\nLeadership Foundation, in Abuja.<\/p>\n
Makinde said Nigeria is heading for explosion if urgent steps are not
\nimmediately taken to fix the current economic hardship, unemployment and
\ninsecurity in the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe APC is part of the corruption in the country. They are not fit to be
\nthere, they must handle the issue of padding very carefully. We are
\nsitting on a keg of gun powder. The day it will explode, it will consume
\nus. So many graduates are not employed. Unemployed people are the people
\nbehind the militancy in the Niger Delta region.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to warn Christians in the National Assembly. They should be
\ncareful, they should not take the issue of Sharia law and the grazing bill
\nin the National Assembly lightly. Nobody can acquire my land. Northerners
\ncannot acquire my land to graze their cattle. Let them go and graze in
\ntheir own part of the country,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
The cleric, popularly called Prelate Emeritus also advised the Federal
\nGovernment and the ruling APC to be fair in their fight against
