I, Kola Ologbondiyan, convey my profound gratitude to all leaders and stakeholders of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), delegates to the Port Harcourt National Convention and all well-wishers for the massive support given to me in my aspiration to serve our party as the National Publicity Secretary.
\nI am indeed humbled by your commitment and passion in supporting me. This is in addition to your iron-cast resolve to reposition the publicity machinery of our great party by standing for professional proficiency instead of sentiments.
\nAs a critical stakeholder in our rebuilding process, I believe that the challenges we currently face as a party will further engender our unity and focus as one big family of democrats upon which our citizens hinge their hope for a better nation.<\/p>\n
Despite its challenges, the PDP still remains the only democratic vehicle, upon which platform our dear nation can come out of the current economic and social doldrums and return to the path of greatness, political stability and economic prosperity.<\/p>\n
I applaud our leaders and elders for their resilience, dedication and sacrifices towards repositioning our party at this critical point in time and urge all genuine members of the PDP to queue behind them as they work hard to give our party the desired direction.<\/p>\n
Finally, on a personal note, as a loyal and dedicated member of the PDP, I wish to assure that I remain available in my aspiration to serve as the National Publicity Secretary, even as my hope in God is steadfast that our tomorrow as a party shall indeed be greater for the good of all.<\/p>\n
