Even as the federal government has extended overtures to some militant
\ngroups, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, NDGJM, has refused to
\nbaulk as it destroyed yet another major delivery line in Delta State.<\/p>\n
The Urhobo dominated militant group based in Ughelli,\u00a0 in an email to our
\nreporter,\u00a0 claimed that its strike force blew up the Afiesere-Ekiugbo
\ndelivery line, operated by the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company,
\nNPDC\/Shoreline Petroleum at Ughelli, Delta state, on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The group renewed warning to First Hydrocarbon, Seplat, Total E&P, Shell,
\nAgip, Saipem, Mobil that they would soon feel their adverse impacts.<\/p>\n
A self-styled General Aldo Agbalaja, the leader of the group said: \u201cThe
\nOpudo strike force, at about 11:30 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016,
\nstruck the Afiesere \u2013 Ekiugbo delivery line in Ughelli, operated by
\nNPDC\/Shoreline.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Operation Crocodile Tears is not slowing down, but determined to
\nachieve target. Until the federal government takes the proper steps, this
\nsong will continue to play. This is to once again emphasize our earlier
\nrevelation that the so-called Operation Crocodile Smile is nothing but a
\nscam: some jumbled job, sewn together to retire some recently embezzled
\nmilitary budget.<\/p>\n
\u201cWere it a serious endeavor, as the entire military system has sought to
\nbamboozle Nigerians and the entire world to believe, the half-baked
\noperation would have at least been reaping marginal results, besides those
\nwrong arrests, lacking in intelligence that it had realized.<\/p>\n
Threatening that the day of reckoning was close for Burutai On protection
\nof oil pipelines by the military, it said: \u201cThis is to you, the Chief of
\nArmy Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai, let you crocodile continue to smile,
\nyour time of reckoning is at hand, probably by the time the smiling
\ncrocodile finally sinks, you will see its tears and blood.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cUnder your nose, the very task of guarding oil assets (which we
\nconsider a waste of time, resources and a failure of priorities) will fail
\nbecause you are both insincere and incompetent. We\u2018re just starting and by
\nthe time the alpha operations are initiated, you will need more than these
\nfighter jets to keep your troops safe in any part of the Niger Delta.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
The group warned the oil and gas companies, who have put their trust in
\nthe guns and fighter jets of the Nigerian armed forces to wait for their
\nrewards.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have observed that you have placed your trust in the guns and fighter
\njets of the Nigerian armed forces, our words for you are few: keep at it
\nand wait for your rewards, which have almost come upon you\u2019\u2019, he said.
\nContinuing, he stated: \u2018\u2019It is a reflection of your minds towards our
\npeople; you obviously do not believe that the people of this part are
\ndeserving of good lives. You hide behind the guns of the oppressors to
\npillage our lands and our people, leaving us despoiled and our lands
\nraped. You do all manners of things you will dare not imagine in other
\nparts of the world where you operate.<\/p>\n
\u201cHere, you have failed all basic corporate social responsibilities,
\nleaving the people to languish in lack and ruin. Continue with your
\ninsolence against our people, but we will vow to you today that we shall
\nuproot every asset and facility you think you have secured with soldiers
\nand their guns.<\/p>\n
\u201cShorelines, First Hydrocarbon, NPDC, Seplat, Total E&P, Shell, Agip,
\nSaipem, Mobil and co wait for us, we are just coming out for you,\u201d it
