\nbillion monthly maritime security contract awarded to Global West Vessel
\nServices Limited (GWVSL), the Federal Government on Wednesday 21st
\nSeptember, 2016 re-awarded the contract to the Rivers State Chairman of
\nthe All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Davies Ikanya, who was allegedly
\nsaid to have presented Snecou Financial Services Company Limited to

\nAgency (NIMASA), the agency under which the contract is carried out, has
\nissued an award letter to the favoured company, as NIMASA had written \u00a0to
\nthe Bureau of Public Procurement(BPP) to obtain \u201cNO Objection\u201d permit to
\nuse direct procurement for the engagement of the new company instead of
\ncompetitive bidding process in line with the procurement Act.<\/p>\n
Global West has been associated with High Chief Government Ekpemupolo,
\nalso known as Tompolo.<\/p>\n
