Daniel Bekele, director of Human Rights Watch\u2019s Africa division, has asked
\nPresident Muhammadu Buhari to apologize to women over his \u201csexist and
\noffensive\u201d remark.<\/p>\n

\u201cA strong response is urgently needed from Africa and beyond to condemn
\nPresident Buhari\u2019s statement objectifying women. He should urgently
\napologise for his words and act in a manner that demonstrates his apology
\nis genuine,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
