{"id":54841,"date":"2016-12-05T19:56:14","date_gmt":"2016-12-05T18:56:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=54841"},"modified":"2016-12-05T19:56:14","modified_gmt":"2016-12-05T18:56:14","slug":"ima-niboro-dumps-jonathan-pdp-joins-apc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/ima-niboro-dumps-jonathan-pdp-joins-apc\/","title":{"rendered":"Ima Niboro Dumps Jonathan, PDP, Joins APC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Ima Niboro,<br \/>\nhas joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Niboro was ushered into the APC <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_748446654\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Monday<\/span><\/span> at his residence in Udu<br \/>\nLocal Government Area of Delta.<\/p>\n<p>He told NAN that, \u201cMy membership of the APC is true.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Niboro, a former Special Adviser on Media to ex-President Goodluck<br \/>\nJonathan, said his joining the APC was meant to align Delta with the<br \/>\ngovernment at the national level and to galvanise development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is not a sudden switch. I have had 18 months to study the situation as<br \/>\nit concerned my ward, local government, community and even my state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have to conclude that there is time for everything. This is the time<br \/>\nfor us in Delta to link up with the Federal Government in order to bring<br \/>\ndevelopment to our land.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe cannot at this critical point of our history be left out of Federal<br \/>\nGovernment\u2019s development agenda.<\/p>\n<p>`There is no synergy between Delta and the Federal Government and we<br \/>\ncannot achieve that synergy when we are working at cross-purposes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must work together to achieve that synergy,\u201d NAN quotes him as saying.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Niboro, a former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, member, decried the<br \/>\nlevel of infrastructure decay in Delta.<\/p>\n<p>He was formally received by APC stalwarts in Ughelli South Local<br \/>\nGovernment Area of Delta, where he hailed from.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Ima Niboro, has joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
