{"id":55407,"date":"2017-01-12T17:18:12","date_gmt":"2017-01-12T16:18:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=55407"},"modified":"2017-01-12T17:18:12","modified_gmt":"2017-01-12T16:18:12","slug":"buhari-sends-new-list-ambassadorial-nominees-drops-mamora-oguntade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/buhari-sends-new-list-ambassadorial-nominees-drops-mamora-oguntade\/","title":{"rendered":"Buhari Sends New List of Ambassadorial Nominees, Drops Mamora, Oguntade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Muhammadu Buhari resubmitted names of non-career ambassadorial<br \/>\nnominees to the Senate <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1100865468\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Thursday<\/span><\/span>, two months after the legislature<br \/>\nrejected his first list.<br \/>\nSenator Olorunmimbe Mamora and George Oguntade, a retired Supreme Court<br \/>\nJudge, are two of the well-known figures dropped by Buhari.<br \/>\nAlso, Adegboyega Ogunwusi, an elder brother of the Ooni of Ife, Enitan<br \/>\nOgunwusi, was also dropped.<br \/>\nIt was learnt that the governors and ministers on the platform of the All<br \/>\nProgressives Congress (APC) had last year complained that the earlier<br \/>\nnominees were drawn from their respective states without consultations<br \/>\nwith them.<br \/>\nAfter Senate President Bukola Saraki read the new nominees <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1100865469\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Thursday<\/span><\/span>,<br \/>\nAbuja Senator, Phillip Aduda thanked Buhari for nominating an indigene of<br \/>\nAbuja this time.<br \/>\nDr Eniola Ajayi, a former Commissioner for Education, as well as<br \/>\nEnvironment, under Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and House of Reps Candidate (APC<br \/>\n2015), also made the list.
