Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has approved the appointment of Alhaji<\/p>\n
Mukhtar Umar Magori as the new Chief of Staff, Government House.<\/p>\n
Until this appointment, Magori was into private business.<\/p>\n
He attended Nagarta College, Sokoto for his secondary education and Ahmadu
\nBello University, Zaria for his first degree.<\/p>\n
The new Chief of Staff has an MSc in Maritime Studies from the University
\nof Wales in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
\nMeanwhile, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Mutawallen Sokoto, has also
\napproved the restructuring of Sokoto State Media Corporation (SSMC).<\/p>\n
Under the new and enhanced arrangement, the following appointments have
\nbeen made:<\/p>\n
1. Malam Abubakar Shekara (Managing Director)<\/p>\n
2. Alhaji Labaran Lumo Dundaye (Deputy Managing Director)<\/p>\n
3. Usman Buhari Sani (Director, Rima Radio)<\/p>\n
4. Alhaji Lawal Sadiq (Director, Rima Television)<\/p>\n
5 Aliyu Aliyu Dogon Daji (Director, State FM)<\/p>\n
6. Abubakar Junaidu (Director Administration)<\/p>\n
7. Hajiya Halima S. Tudu has been appointed as a Director-General in the
\nState Civil Service.<\/p>\n
All other directors in the media corporation retain their current
\npositions and schedule.<\/p>\n
The Governor tasked the new team to introduce innovative strategies that
\nwill reposition the state media outfits for optimum results.<\/p>\n
He also urged the new team to key into government’s overall objective of
\nproviding quality service that will lead to the upliftment of the standard
