Bayelsa State Governor Hon. Seriake Dickson on Monday commended the<\/p>\n
Nigerian Air Force for their gallant efforts \u00a0at protecting the
\nterritorial integrity of the nation and partnering with the state
\ngovernment in the maintainance of law and order.<\/p>\n
Governor Dickson gave the commendation when he received the new Air
\nOfficer Commanding, \u00a0Mobility Command, \u00a0Yenagoa, Air Vice Marshal Stephen
\nIkpletu Onuh and his team in Government House, \u00a0Yenagoa<\/p>\n
Describing the new AOC as a thorough and professional officer, whose track
\nrecord speaks volume of his competence, Governor Dickson expressed
\nconfidence that, the command under the \u00a0leadership of AVM Onuh would
\nrecord greater achievements.<\/p>\n
He noted that, the strategic investments already made by the Nigerian Air
\nForce would not only promote infrastructural development, but also enhance
\nthe operational capability of its personnel in combating crime and
\nemergencies.<\/p>\n
While assuring the Mobility Command of his administration’s continued
\nsupport towards sustaining the existing peace, the Governor reiterated
\ngovernment’s policy of zero tolerance on criminal activities in the state.<\/p>\n
Speaking earlier, \u00a0the Air Officer Commanding, Mobility Command, Air Vice
\nMarshall Stehpen Ikpletu Onuh, had said the purpose of the visit was to
\ninform Governor Dickson of his posting to the command.<\/p>\n
Air Vice Marshal Onuh expressed the determination of his command to
\ncollaborate with other security agencies to enforce law and order in the
