The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has forwarded the names of nine
\neligible applicants to the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman,
\nJudicial Service Commission, Walter Samuel Onnoghen, for appointment as
\nJustices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.<\/p>\n
This followed a rigorous process of shortlisting done by a select
\ncommittee chaired by the President of the Nigerian Bar Association,
\nAbubakar Mahmoud, with eight other eminent lawyers as members.<\/p>\n
Applicants shortlisted by the NBA for appointment as Justices of the
\nSupreme Court are the following:<\/p>\n
