The inferno of verbal altercation between the Transport Minister, Rotimi
\nChibuike Amaechi through his aide, Mr. David Iyofor and the Ex-President
\nGoodluck Jonathan\u2019s aide Pastor Reno Omokri rages on as Omokri, in an
\narticle titled, \u201cRotimi Amaechi: Leave Trash For LAWMA,\u201d replied Amaechi\u2019s
\nsecond letter which read, \u201cAgain Amaechi\u2019s aide replies Reno: \u201cYou\u2019re a
\nzookeeper; answer my questions, don\u2019t write about lions, monkeys.\u201d saying
\nAmaechi must \u201cLeave Trash For LAWMA.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the response, Omokri maintained that the Transport Minister did not
\nanswer the points he raised in his earlier article titled, \u201cReno to
\nAmaechi: \u201cYou\u2019re a decorated monkey only loyal to your stomach\u201d wherein
\nhe(Reno) disproved with facts the allegations by Amaechi that the Goodluck
\nJonathan administration misappropriated funds meant for the country\u2019s
\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n
Reno also said that instead of answering the questions he raised, where he
\nproved the Minister wrong, Amaechi, however resorted to spewing trash, a
\nproof that he(Amaechi) \u201cis as irrelevant as the P in Psychology by
\nspending his time making false allegations instead of fulfilling the
\nmandate giving him to improve Nigeria\u2019s transport infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n
Omokri who said that Amaechi\u2019s duty post is the Lagos State Waste
\nManagement Authority, LAWMA, also said that he does not \u201creact to trash
\nwhich Amaechi is but instead, he leaves trash for LAWMA.\u201d Reno Omokri
\ncontinued by saying that the Former Rivers state Governor and current
\nMinister of Transport has no job and life outside the government, \u201cwhich
\nis why during the 2015 campaigns he was reduced to a driver to President
\nMuhammadu Buhari and Malam Nasir Elrufai. How the people of Rivers state

\u201cAgain, Nigeria\u2019s Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, has left the
\nissues raised by my response to his fallacious interview to impugn my
\ncharacter in a vicious ad hominem attack on me. My response is as follows:
\nWhy should I respond to the trash that Rotimi Amaechi has thrown at me?
\nOut of the fullness of the heart a man speaks. He has trash within him so
\nhe always vomits trash. I do not react to trash. I leave trash to LAWMA.<\/p>\n
Rotimi Amaechi, with his pot belly and ill fitting designer clothes, is
\ntrash. My dear minister, here is the address of Lagos State Waste
\nManagement Authority, LAWMA: No. 3 Iddo \u2013 Yard, Ijora Olopa, Lagos State.
\nYou can report for duty there since it is your natural habitat! Rather
\nthan trash, I will prefer to respond to issues. The issues are very clear.
\nRotimi Amaechi falsely accused ex-President Goodluck Jonathan of pilfering
\n$49.8 billion in his interview.<\/p>\n
I proved that he lied. I proved that the maker of that allegation, the
\nthen Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi
\nlater withdrew it after he was faced with evidence of its falsity. I
\nproved that in February of 2014, the then CBN Governor wrote another
\nletter to the Senate admitting that he did not know how much or if
\nanything was unaccounted for saying (and I quote from Sanusi\u2019s letter) it
\ncould be \u201c$10.8 billion or $12 billion or $19 billion or $21 billion \u2014 we
\ndo not know at this point\u201d. I also proved that Rotimi Amaechi was being
\nhypocritical when he accused the former President of not saving because he
\nwas the one who, as then Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum,
\ninsisted on September 21, 2012 that the saved funds in the Excess Crude
\nAccount be shared.<\/p>\n
I proved that when former President Jonathan REFUSED to share the funds,
\nRotimi Amaechi led the NGF to sue the then Federal Government at the
\nSupreme Court and got a judgment compelling the Jonathan administration to
\nshare the money saved in the Excess Crude Account. As a result of these
\nactions, the Jonathan administration was forced to pay the 36 states of
\nthe federation a total of N2.92 trillion from the Excess Crude Account by
\n2014. Using the value of the Naira at that time, that amount was just
\nabove $20 billion dollars. This was money that was to be saved. Again
\nRotimi Amaechi proves that he is as irrelevant as the P in Psychology by
\nspending his time making false allegations instead of fulfilling the
\nmandate giving him to improve Nigeria\u2019s transport infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Is he so jobless? But I am not surprised. His masters already saw just how
\njobless he is which is why during the 2015 campaigns he was reduced to a
\ndriver to President Muhammadu Buhari and Malam Nasir Elrufai. How the
\npeople of Rivers state suffered to the extent that their Governor became a
\nchauffeur.<\/p>\n
You can take a donkey to the River but you cannot force it to drink and
\nyou can make Amaechi a minister but you cannot force him to act like a
\nminister.<\/p>\n
His proper calling in life was perhaps to be a driver! Rotimi Amaechi had
\nno money to finish the mono rail in his state, but he had $500,000 to
\nspend on a one day dinner for Professor Wole Soyinka by his own admission.
\nIs that not proof that he likes food more than knowledge and development?
\nWhen he became governor of Rivers state in 2007, the state treasury was
\nfat and his belly was lean, by the time he left in 2015, the state
\ntreasury was lean and his belly was fat.<\/p>\n
In fact, Rotimi Amaechi\u2019s belly swapped destiny with his state\u2019s treasury!
\nI have had a life before government. I worked at a bank, at Parliament, as
\nVP of a political consulting firm and now I run my own profitable
\nbusiness. Does Rotimi Amaechi have a life outside government? The only job
\nthat he has had outside government was a job as Peter Odili\u2019s PA at Pamo
\nClinics and Hospitals, Port Harcourt.<\/p>\n
Thereafter, he rode on Odili\u2019s coattails from one government post to the
\nother. His only political skill being to betray one political godfather as
\nsoon as he finds a bigger one. Government post is Rotimi Amaechi\u2019s oxygen
\nand this was what former President Olusegun Obasanjo saw when he stopped
\nhim from becoming Governor in 2007 because he knew that a man who cannot
\ngenerate wealth in his private business is condemned to forever be a
\nsycophantic political prostitute. With the benefit of hindsight, we now
\nsee that President Obasanjo was right! If Rotimi Amaechi wants to shut my
\nmouth then I challenge him to go to Rumukwurushi Market in Port Harcourt
\nwithout security and shout Sai Baba, Sai Amaechi. If he survives the
\nencounter, I will forever leave him and his potbelly alone.<\/p>\n
