Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo\u00a0 Wike\u00a0 has declared that after two
\nyears in office, the APC Federal Government\u00a0 has not executed\u00a0 a single
\nmeaningful\u00a0 project\u00a0 in the state.<\/p>\n
Flagging off the construction\u00a0 of the Elele-Alimini internal roads\u00a0 in
\nEmohua Local Government Area on Tuesday said that the APC made promises
\nand abandoned\u00a0 the state.<\/p>\n
The flag of the construction of the Elele-Alimini internal roads is part
\nof the second year anniversary of Governor Wike.<\/p>\n
He said: “APC has deceived Nigerians .I challenge\u00a0 the APC to show one
\nproject that they have executed\u00a0 in Rivers State in the last two years .
\nThey have made promises, but they have made no efforts to fulfil\u00a0 the
\npromises.<\/p>\n
“Enough is enough\u00a0 for the lying and deception of the APC.\u00a0 You can see
\nthe difference between light and darkness”.<\/p>\n
The governor\u00a0 explained\u00a0 that construction\u00a0 of the Elele-Alimini internal
\nroads is in fulfilment\u00a0 of his promise to the people of the area.<\/p>\n
“Those people in APC\u00a0 stayed in Government\u00a0 for eight years, but never
\nfulfilled\u00a0 the promises they made to the people of Elele-Alimini.\u00a0 Today,
\nwe are here to fulfill our promises to the people of the area.<\/p>\n
“Because the people of Elele-Alimini did not disappoint me when I came to
\nthem for votes, I will not disappoint\u00a0 them. ”<\/p>\n
He said that\u00a0 the people of Rivers State\u00a0 have no business being in the
\nAPC as the party has shown by its\u00a0 actions that it will not execute
\nprojects\u00a0 in the state.<\/p>\n
He commended the leader of the APC in Elele-Alimini , Chief Chibuike Dike
\nfor leading his\u00a0 supporters back to the PDP.<\/p>\n
In his remarks, Former President-General of Ogbakor Ikwerre, Prof
\nAugustine Ahiazu said the Ikwerre Ethnic Nationality is proud of the
\nachievements of Governor Wike.<\/p>\n
Rivers State Works Commissioner, Mr Iheanyichuwu Bathuel said that 20
\nroads, spanning 30 kilometres\u00a0 will be reconstructed in Elele-Alimini to
