The Chairman, Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State,
\nRochas Okorocha, said\u00a0on Tuesday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0that it was too early for Nigerians to
\njudge the APC-led federal government.<\/p>\n

The Progressives Governors Forum is the forum of governors elected on the
\nplatform of Nigeria\u2019s ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to appeal to Nigerians not to judge us from past sins or within
\nthe two years we have been in the mantle of leadership of this great
\ncountry.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou should judge us when the mandate entrusted to us expires,\u201d Mr.
\nOkorocha said at the opening of a retreat on policy synergy between states
\nand the federal government, holding in Birnin Kebbi.<\/p>\n

The governor reminded Nigerians that those presently at the helm of
\naffairs came on board when the country was at the brink of collapse due to
\nsecurity and economic challenges.<\/p>\n

He assured that the APC-led administration would meet the expectations of
\nall Nigerians.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur party has the best governors ever produced in the history of this
\ncountry \u2013 from Sokoto, Adamawa, Kebbi, Lagos, Imo, Zamfara, Nasarawa, Kogi
\nand others.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you visit those states, you will know that Nigerians have not made
\nmistake electing us to lead their states affairs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have resolved to fix the economy and it is already being fixed,\u201d he said.
\nThe governor explained that they are working with the Federal Ministry of
\nAgriculture to put resources together to stamp out hunger in the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
