The President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO) was Wednesday,
\nenmeshed in intense crisis over who takes charge as natio?nal coordinator
\nof the Organisation.<\/p>\n
Following the development, men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF)
\nwell-armed with rifles and ammunitions were seen at the campaign office
\nlocated along Kubwa express way, negotiating with the two factional
\nleaders for peace to reign.<\/p>\n
Specifically, Alhaji Danladi Pasali and Alhaji Isa Bayero have been laying
\nclaims to the leadership of the organization for the past few months.<\/p>\n
Trouble started when the members loyal to Alhaji Pasali stormed the office
\nand locked the gate in order to address a press conference on Buhari\u2019s
\nreturn from London.<\/p>\n
When the Alhaji Bayero group arrived in order to have another press
\nconference, there was no way for them to gain entry, as members of the
\nother faction had already occupied and locked up the gate.<\/p>\n
Briefing newsmen on the development outside the gate, Bayero claimed that
\nthe other faction broke into his office and carted away official documents
\nand other valuables.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey had already changed the padlocks and keys to the office. They even
\nhave that case at the FCT Police Command for breaking into my office; they
\nhave the case file there. The case is on-going. They broke into my office
\nand stole all the documents.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have not been in the office for like two months because of the fasting
\nperiod and because our dear leader was away in London for medical
\ntreatment but we resumed today. That is why you have seen us with the
\nPolice waiting to attend this meeting.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn fact, impersonation is part of corruption in this country. I don\u2019t
\nwant anything fight, we need peace because of General Muhammadu Buhari. We
\nwrote a letter to the Commissioner of Police, we also sent it to the State
\nSecurity Service (SSS) to give us official approval to be attached with
\nsecurity agents but when we arrived here, they had already locked up this
\nplace and were inside,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
But while the North Central Zonal Coordinator of the Organization, Hon.
\nUbale Marafa was addressing newsmen inside the office, three Policemen
\nstormed the hall and stopped the briefing while he was rounding off.
\nMarafa said the divine healing of Buhari would go a long way in reducing
\nthe \u201cneedless conspiracy theories\u201d surrounding his health.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn this note, we want to specially appeal to all progressive minded
\nNigerians, lovers of democracy and democratic dividends to rally round,
\nsupport, join hands with and help our loving and amiable President
\nMuhammadu Buhari to succeed by focusing on issues that are capable of
\nuniting the country rather than those that have the tendency to divide her
