The National University Commission (NUC)\u200e has considered and approved the establishment of the full time mode for the take off of some programmes in the main campus of the University of Africa in Toru-Orua, Bayelsa State.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The NUC disclosed this in a letter signed by its Director, Academic Planning, Dr. G. B Kumo on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the commission.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In the letter which was addressed to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Africa, Prof. Valentine Aletor the courses that were approved for the 2017\/2018 academic session are\u200e\u00a0<\/span>Agriculture,\u00a0Fisheries and Aquaculture \u200eas well as\u00a0Hotel Management and Tourism.<\/span><\/div>\n


Others are; English,\u00a0History and International Studies,<\/span>\u00a0Linguistic \/Nigeria Language,\u00a0<\/span>Theatre Arts,\u00a0Education management and Guidance and Counseling.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also approved are;\u200e\u00a0Biochemistry,\u00a0Biology,\u00a0Chemistry,\u00a0<\/span>Computer science,\u00a0<\/span>Mathematics,\u00a0<\/span>Microbiology and Physics.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It also gave its approval for Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, \u200eEconomics, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Mass Communication, Political Science and Public Administration.\u00a0

The commission while congratulating authorities of the university reminded them to review their academic brief document to reflect changes made to its original take-off.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
