Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has questioned the rationale
\nbehind the Federal Government\u2019s\u00a0 hiring of consultants from Malaysia
\nwith the sum of N458 million to help Nigeria build her economic
\ncapacity, saying; \u201cthe federal government\u2019s action is a clear vote of
\nno confidence on President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s government and economic
\nexperts in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n
The governor, who said; \u201cit is shameful that Nigeria, which produced
\nthe likes of African Development Bank (ADB) President, Dr Akinwumi
\nAdesina; Treasurer and Vice President of the World Bank, Mrs Aruma
\nOtteh; Independent Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Plc,
\nUnited Kingdom, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Professor of Political
\nEconomy, Pat Utomi; among others is now paying people from Malaysia to
\nrevive its economy.\u201d<\/p>\n
