{"id":60526,"date":"2017-12-12T16:04:33","date_gmt":"2017-12-12T15:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=60526"},"modified":"2017-12-12T16:04:33","modified_gmt":"2017-12-12T15:04:33","slug":"ikpeazu-t-a-orji-on-war-path-over-50-million-bribe-to-agf-malami-supreme-court-judges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/ikpeazu-t-a-orji-on-war-path-over-50-million-bribe-to-agf-malami-supreme-court-judges\/","title":{"rendered":"IKPEAZU, T.A ORJI ON WAR PATH OVER $50 MILLION BRIBE TO AGF MALAMI, SUPREME COURT JUDGES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and his godfather, Senator<br \/>\nTheodore Orji, are currently on warpath over an alleged $50 million bribe<br \/>\nto the Attorney General of the Federation, (AGF), Abubakar Malami (SAN)and<br \/>\nJustices of the Supreme Court to give a favourable judgment to the<br \/>\ngovernor.<\/p>\n<p>Ikpeazu was alleged to have doled out a $50 million bribe to his lawyer,<br \/>\nWole Olanipekun (SAN) to ensure that the AGF prevails on the Supreme Court<br \/>\nto deliver judgment in his favour in a case of submission of false<br \/>\ninformation and fake tax documents filed against him by a chieftain of the<br \/>\nPDP in Abia State, Sir\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1270053162\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Nwosu.<\/p>\n<p>The former governor, who now represents Abia Central at the Senate, was<br \/>\nsaid to have warned the senior lawyer to stop being used as a conduit pipe<br \/>\nconveying bribe money for the governor. Orji insisted that Ikpeazu and<br \/>\nNwosu are both Ngwa people and that he was deceived to support Ikpeazu.<br \/>\nNwosu was the consensus candidate presented to Theodore Orji by elders of<br \/>\nthe Ukwa\/Ngwa bloc where the governorship seat was zoned to, until his<br \/>\nson, Chinedum Orji swayed support in favour of Ikpeazu..<\/p>\n<p>Ikpeazu had on Friday, December 1 2017, during the Catholic Reverend<br \/>\nFathers\u2019 Recollection Conference at Catholic Church, Umuacha, Isiala Ngwa<br \/>\nSouth local government Area, urged the Catholic priests to pray for his<br \/>\ndeliverance from the forces of darkness.<\/p>\n<p>The governor who was accompanied by Chiefs Reagan Ufoma and Damian<br \/>\nOzurumba, explained that his poor performance in office is a result of the<br \/>\nfact that Theodore Orji and family who installed him have not allowed him<br \/>\nto work for the state. Ikpeazu further stated that Theodore Orji and his<br \/>\nfamily as well as their political groups are degree holders in native<br \/>\ndoctor matters and juju and urged the clerics to pray and deliver him from<br \/>\nthe hands of juju people.<\/p>\n<p>Sources told\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/pointblanknews.com&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1513176859512000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGL3NJC5xDLT7wZyond0e2OdMibDg\" data-mt-detrack-inspected=\"true\">pointblanknews.com<\/a>\u00a0that some Abia citizens including Senator<br \/>\nOrji and Ikpeazu\u2019s core supporters have advised him to stop carrying away<br \/>\nbillions of Abia state money to bribe judges and other government<br \/>\nofficials.
