Adamawa Government has confirmed 27 dead and 56 injured from\u00a0Tuesday\u2019s<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0twin blast in Mubi town.<\/div>\n

The state Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Ahmad Sajoh, made this known in a statement made available in Yola.<\/div>\n

The statement said that the 56\u00a0<\/u>injuried<\/u>\u00a0persons were on admission in hospital.<\/p>\n

Sajoh said the blast occurred in Kasuwan\u00a0<\/u>Gwanjo<\/u>\u00a0(<\/u>second hand<\/u>\u00a0clothes market) and a mosque within the market.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile condemning the satanic, cowardly and dastardly act, His Excellency Sen. Mohammed Umar Jibrilla\u00a0<\/u>Bindow<\/u>, the executive Governor of Adamawa State, had ordered the immediate provision of medical supplies and mobilization of medical officers to the general hospital in Mubi.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
\u201cIn addition, the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA) had been ordered to supply food and non-food items to the hospital to cater for victims and victims relations.\u201d
\nThe statement urged people to donate blood and be more vigilant and reiterated the government\u2019s commitment to\u00a0<\/u>protection<\/u>\u00a0of lives and properties of all citizens.<\/p>\n

It also called for calm and resilience.<\/p>\n
