Fulanis in Nigeria have been told to prepare for \u201cwar\u201d to reclaim Nigeria
\nwhich is it only inheritance in Africa, a group, Fulani Nationality
\nMovement, FUNAM, has said in statement.<\/p>\n
The group in the statement signed by its National President, Badu Salisu
\nAhmadu, said already, the Fulani Special Force which masterminded the
\nkilling of over 200 people in Plateau state have been adequately prepared
\nto carry out more attacks.<\/p>\n
The group warned all minorities in the Middle belt of Nigeria to leave the
\narea or be killed.<\/p>\n

STATEMENT BY THE FULANI NATIONALITY MOVEMENT, (FUNAM)<\/p>\n
WE REMAIN SOLID AND UNSHAKEN BY THE WIND<\/p>\n
Our attention has been drawn to the series of campaigns being waged
\nagainst the FULANI NATIONALITY following the killings in PLATEAU where
\nsome civilians who have been tormenting the FULANI nation were justifiable
\nhacked down;<\/p>\n
Why is it convenient for Nigerians to condemn the killings of Birom but
\nfail to condemn the killings of Fulani people?<\/p>\n
We frown at the conscious attempts to demonize the FULANI nation by the
\nmedia and their collaborators;<\/p>\n
We wish to make the following categorical statements on the Plateau
\nincidence:<\/p>\n
1) The killings in Barkin Ladi was motivated by previous killings of
\nFULANI men and women by Birom youths in collaboration with certain
\nminority ethnic groups in PLATEAU. We hereby justify these retaliatory
\nattacks and warn that we shall continue to defend ourselves and uphold the
\nFULANI heritage now and in the future. Let it be known that the Fulani
\nSpecial Force coordinated the attacks;<\/p>\n
For the avoidance of doubt, our heritage is that ANY ATTACK ON A SINGLE
\nFULANI IS AN ATTACK ON ALL. ANY OF SUCH ATTACKS MUST BE COUNTERED WITH
\nTRIPLE MEASURE.<\/p>\n
2) That apart from stealing hundreds of cows belonging to FULANI, these
\ncriminal elements also set ablaze several houses belonging to peaceful
\nFULANI natives across the entire territories in Barkin Ladi and Plateau.<\/p>\n
3)That we have said it several times that Plateau is an indigenous
\nterritory of the FULANI people. We are the first to settle in
\nPlateau-Benue axis thousands of years ago. We shall take and possess every
\ninch of this land; A conscious attempt to rewrite history and distort,
\nmanipulate or destroy our past will be resisted with all the might at our
\ndisposal.<\/p>\n
4) That there is a clear agenda to divide Nigeria and exterminate the
\nFULANI people. We are long aware of this plot. We call on FULANI all over
\nAfrica to prepare for this inevitable war and set our people on an
\noffensive path rather than being weaklings that choose a defensive
\nstrategy in warfare.<\/p>\n
5) We have said it over and over, that Nigeria is the only inheritance we
\nhave in Africa and anywhere in the world. This land belongs to us, from
\nSokoto to the banks of the Atlantic Ocean. This was the destiny bestowed
\non Uthman Dan Fodio which would have been fulfilled since 1816 if not for
\nthe obstruction of this great assignment by the British. It is no longer
\ntime to play the ostrich. Our men are waiting. We are eager to fight. We
\nare boiling with the zeal to actualize our dream; enough of double dealing
\nand ambivalence by FULANI political leaders who unfortunately think the
\nFULANI can only take back what belongs to us through appeasement and
\nelections destined to reflect cultural values antithetical to the
\npreaching of Uthman Dan Fodio.<\/p>\n
6) We warn that nothing will be able to save those raising their voices
\nagainst us and Allah. Nothing will be left behind, from the East, West and
\nMiddle Belt except those who accept the creation of Allah and the
\nleadership place of Fulani in fulfilling this destiny. Since this
\nirresponsible Western notion of democracy was imposed, the Fulani have
\nbeen shortchanged and maligned. The\u00a0 Middle-Belt, the West and the East
\nshould be prepared. We are already here.<\/p>\n
7) Let the Birom and the ethnic minority invaders in the entire Middle
\nBelt leave our territory or be prepared to accept our\u00a0 ways of live. It is
\ntime for them to savour their wounds. It is just the beginning. Many more
\nwill come and nothing can stop us.<\/p>\n
7) Insha Allah, we shall take this battle across the sea, on the land, in
\nthe air, on the mountains, in every territory currently occupied by the
\nKafirs. This is our position. This is our destiny. For those who think
\nthey can stop or continue to conspire against us, we wish them good luck.<\/p>\n
