{"id":62962,"date":"2018-07-12T17:45:31","date_gmt":"2018-07-12T16:45:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=62962"},"modified":"2018-07-12T17:45:31","modified_gmt":"2018-07-12T16:45:31","slug":"ekiti-election-fgs-movement-of-n18bn-cash-through-akure-airport-exposed-with-pictorial-evidence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/ekiti-election-fgs-movement-of-n18bn-cash-through-akure-airport-exposed-with-pictorial-evidence\/","title":{"rendered":"Ekiti Election: FG\u2019s movement of N18bn cash through Akure Airport exposed with Pictorial Evidence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We called you here to intimate the public through your various media<br \/>\norganisations of the movement of huge cash by the federal government<br \/>\nto Ekiti State for the\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_474816518\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0election.<\/p>\n<p>Last week Saturday, two bullion vehicles were moved to the Akure<br \/>\nAirport to evacuate cash brought from Abuja by a chattered flight.<\/p>\n<p>The flight landed when it was raining and all staff of the airport<br \/>\nwere barred from going near the aircraft while the cash was evacuated<br \/>\ninto the two bullion vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>After offloading the huge cash, the bullion van first moved to the<br \/>\nOndo State Government House in Akure from where they left for Isan<br \/>\nEkiti, the hometown of the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Kayode<br \/>\nFayemi.<\/p>\n<p>We present to you and the entire world, video and photographs of the<br \/>\nchattered aircraft as the cash was being offloaded from it into the<br \/>\ntwo bullion vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>From our preliminary findings, N2.5 billion cash was transferred by<br \/>\nthe Kebbi State Government to an account in UBA, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.<br \/>\nIt was withdrawn immediately and moved with a private jet to Akure.<\/p>\n<p>Also, apart from the N2.5 billion, another $50 million (about N18bn)<br \/>\nwas taken from the $321 million recovered from the late Abacha family.<\/p>\n<p>Our question is, how can a government that claimed to be fighting<br \/>\ncorruption release billions of naira from the public coffers for the<br \/>\ngovernorship election of a single State?
