The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche
\nSecondus, says the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is losing the
\nstrength to lead the country.<\/p>\n
Secondus made the claim on Saturday in Adamawa State, while addressing
\nparty supporters at a rally to launch the presidential campaign of former
\nVice President Atiku Abubakar.<\/p>\n
He accused the ruling party of showing \u201ca sign of a drowning party\u201d by
\nallegedly going after perceived political opponents within and outside the
\nAPC.
\nThe PDP chairman, however, noted that his party has nothing to fear,
\nnoting that they are ready to wrest power from the ruling party.<\/p>\n
He noted that the APC would soon become a history in Nigeria and accused
\nthe party of \u201cswimming in the valley of corruption.\u201d<\/p>\n
In a statement by his media adviser Ike Abonyi, Secondus alleged that the
\nFederal Government has not been able to disburse funds to states and
\nprojects because of the confusion and corruption that have bedevilled the
\nadministration.<\/p>\n
He noted that the rebranded and repositioned PDP has become the party of
\nchoice determined and ready to rescue Nigeria from the hands of APC.<\/p>\n
Secondus assured the people of Adamawa State that under his watch, the
\nparty leadership would provide level playing grounds for all aspirants.<\/p>\n
