The minister of Labour and productivity, Dr Chris Ngige\u00a0Wednesday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0took a
\nswipe at the APC chairman Adams Oshiomhole, calling the ruling party
\nChairman ignorant.<\/p>\n

Oshiomhole\u00a0on Monday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0threatened to suspend the minister, \u201cIf the President
\ncondones disrespect for his office, I will not condone disrespect for the
\nparty,\u201d threatening that \u201cWhen we expel them, we will find out how a
\ngovernment can keep a rebel in the cabinet.\u201d<\/p>\n

But responding to the statement credited to Oshiomhole, Ngige said: \u201cHow?
\nIn a party that we formed and brought them in?<\/p>\n

\u201cThe man (Oshiomhole) is talking out of ignorance. I am not afraid of
\nsuspension,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Minister had previously defended his refusal not to
\nconstitute some of the boards under his ministry, including that of the
\nNSITF.<\/p>\n

Ngige said earlier that his refusal to constitute the NSITF Board stemmed
\nfrom cases of financial mismanagement that has led to investigation of the
\nagency by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).<\/p>\n

The minister said Oshiomhole\u2019s ignorance might be another strain in the
\nparty as his amateurishness has become a hallmark of his leadership.<\/p>\n
