The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) says it has uncovered 38 bodies of
\nslain Biafran activists in a forest located at Obiawom village, Ogwe
\ncommunity in Ukwa West local government area of Abia state.<\/p>\n
Media and Publicity secretary of the IPOB, Comrade Emma Powerful, in an
\nemailed statement, blamed President Muhammadu Buhari, South East
\ngovernors, selected elders and politicians for the killings, stressing
\nthat the 38 activists were murdered by Nigerian soldiers during the
\nOperation Python Dance in the south East zone.<\/p>\n
IPOB called for an investigation by international organizations to unravel
\nthe circumstances behind the killings of the innocent Biafrans and punish
\nthose behind the evil act.<\/p>\n
\u201c This cold blooded execution and unceremonious dumping of dead bodies in
\nthe forest by Fulani soldiers at\u00a0 Obiawom village in Ukwa West under the
\ncontrol of Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, is ample justification for
\nthe recent decision of IPOB to disengage from any further talks with
\nOhaneze Ndigbo and South East governors until all issues surrounding the
\ngenocidal Operation Python Dance is cleared up.<\/p>\n
\u201cHad these number of murder victims been discovered in any Muslim country,
\nregion or part of the world, the International Criminal Court (ICC),
\nUnited Nations, Britain, USA and world media will be up in arms demanding
\nexplanation and holding the perpetrators accountable. Because these events
\nare happening to Biafrans in Nigeria; where an Islamic government, along
\nwith her security operatives staffed by Fulani officers are aiding and
\nprotecting Hausa Fulani herdsmen and their kinsmen in the army from the
\nconsequences of the worst form of ethnically motivated genocide presently
\nin Africa, the world remains deaf to the cries of IPOB.<\/p>\n
“The sight of these decomposed bodies should be designated as an
\ninternational crime scene and promptly investigated. Should the United
\nNations, ICC, USA and European Union fail to act on this gruesome
\ndiscovery of mass grave of Biafrans in Ukwa Ngwa, Abia State, we would
\nconclude that there exists a credible bias and conspiracy to exterminate
\nand Islamize Biafra by the pro-Islamic international community.\u201d<\/p>\n
IPOB urged the global Christian community, Amnesty International, Human
\nRights Watch and other human rights organizations to prevail on the
\nNigeria government and her security operatives to release the remaining
\ndead bodies of Biafrans in their custody.<\/p>\n
