Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, has stated that Nigerians have
\nnot benefitted much from the dividends of democracy.<\/p>\n
In his Sallah message issued by Abu Shekara, his Director-General on Media
\nand Public Affairs, Tambuwal lamented that many Nigerians had been
\ncomplaining but he expressed hope for better days for the country.<\/p>\n
He urged the Muslim faithful to \u201cuse the period for sober reflection and
\nto imbibe the spirit of sacrifice for peace, unity and progress of the
\ncountry\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Governor, in a series of tweets via the handle of the Government
\nHouse, said peaceful co-existence and understanding, as well as sustained
\nprayers, are \u201cessential in the face of the current economic and security
\nchallenges in the country, which are not insurmountable\u201d.

“@GovSokoto also noted that peaceful co-existence and understanding, as
\nwell as sustained prayers among citizens, were essential in the face of
\nthe current economic and security challenges in the country, which are not
\ninsurmountable.<\/p>\n
“He said: ‘The elasticity of Nigerian patience has been overstretched, the
\ncitizens are tired, starved of contemporary democratic dividends which has
\nmade many to voice out their complaints”. Tambuwal stressed emphatically.<\/p>\n

\nrather create a strong resolve to fight for our country because there

He advised the privileged to imbibe the lifestyle of Prophet Muhammad

\nhe harped on the need for peaceful co-existence among Nigerians,
