PDP chieftain advises  Atiku"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m-2505843525806375439\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\">Chief Chinedu Eya, a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal  \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Enugu state, on Sunday congratulated the former Vice President, Alhaji<br \/>\nAbubakar Atiku, following his emergence as the presidential candidate of<br \/>\nthe People\u2019s Democratic Party (PDP), while calling on him to choose the<br \/>\ncountry&#8217;s former finance Minister, Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala or Senator Ben<br \/>\nMurray-Bruce, representing Brass Senatorial zone of Bayesa state as his<br \/>\nrunning mate, to give technical coloration to his aspiration.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Eya, a former Enugu North senatorial aspirant on the platform of<br \/>\nPDP, who spoke after a keenly contested primary election of the PDP, at<br \/>\nthe national convention of the party held at the Adokiye Amasiemeka<br \/>\nstadium, Igwuruta-Ali, Port Harcourt, Rivers state, congratulated the<br \/>\nparty&#8217;s delegates for their bold decision during the exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Eya noted that his choice of the two candidates mentioned above were<br \/>\nto allow front-line technocrats in the country the opportunity to chart a<br \/>\nnew course for the Nation&#8217;s bastardized economy under the APC in one term.<br \/>\nIn a statement by his media aide, Gwiyi Solomon, the PDP chieftain urged<br \/>\nthe other presidential aspirants who participated in the primary election<br \/>\nto happily accept the outcome of the contest and rally round the chosen<br \/>\ncandidate of the party as the tasks ahead of the general election will be<br \/>\ndaunting.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Eya said: &#8220;The wise thing to do at the moment is for Atiku to choose<br \/>\nDr. Okonjo Iweala or Senator Ben Murray-Bruce to give technical<br \/>\ncolouration to his aspiration.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While I congratulate our delegates for a good job, I also want to beg<br \/>\nother contestants in the exercise to hug Atiku and become &#8216;Atikulated&#8217;
