presidenital candidate of being a job creator.<\/p>\n

The office also took a jibe at President Muhammadu Buhari saying he has
\nnever run a successful job creating enterprise.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow we urge the Buhari Presidency and the APC to mention even one
\nsuccessful private endeavour that the president has successfully run. And
\nby private enterprises, we are not referring to 150 cows that never
\nincrease in number, year in year out,\u201d the campaign office said.

The open, democratic and free and fair election (something alien to the
\nAPC according to Buhari\u2019s own wife) on Sunday of His Excellency, Atiku
\nAbubakar, Presidential candidate for the PDP, has clearly left the All
\nProgressives Congress in a state of panic and confusion.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the Buhari Campaign Organisation launched the first weak salvo.
\nAnd on Monday, the APC\u2019s National Publicity Secretary unleashed his own
\nknee-jerk reaction, accusing His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, of being
\ndesperate.<\/p>\n

Our response to the APC is to ask who is desperate between a Muhammadu
\nBuhari who said \u201cIf what happened in 2011 should again happen in 2015, by
\nthe grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood\u201d and
\nan Atiku Abubakar who said \u201cLove and peace should not only be preached,
\nbut must also be put into practice for the sake of sustaining the peace in
\nour land\u201d?<\/p>\n

It is left for Nigerians to judge, but even a blind person can see that
\nNigeria has been \u201csoaked in blood\u201d ever since she was unfortunate enough
\nto have fallen under the rulership of a man whose words are destructive
\nand never productive.<\/p>\n

The APC scribe was foolish enough to say \u201cThe pertinent question to ask
\nabout Atiku is, what was his scorecard in public office?\u201d<\/p>\n

That is a very easy question to answer and we will answer it now.
\nSome of HE Atiku Abubakar\u2019s achievements as Nigeria\u2019s Vice President are
\nthat as head of the National Council of Privatisation, he superintended
\nover the GSM revolution that saw Nigeria go from 50,000 to 100 million GSM
\nlines, has added 500,000 direct jobs to the Nigerian economy and attracted
\n$27 billion to our GDP. Our question to President Buhari and the APC is
\nhow many jobs have they created?<\/p>\n

Another of HE Atiku Abubakar\u2019s achievements is the successful
\nprivatisation of many public enterprises that hitherto consumed government
\nresources without yielding profit. In response, we ask President Buhari
\nhow many loopholes in public expenditure has he plugged? The spectacular
\nfailure of the 419 Nigeria Air is still fresh in the memory of Nigerians.<\/p>\n

A further achievement of the former Vice President is initiating, starting
\nand completing several road projects all over Nigeria including roads in
\nPresident Buhari\u2019s home state of Katsina. In return, we challenge
\nPresident Buhari and the APC to mention three projects that they have
\ninitiated, started and completed in the last three years.<\/p>\n

Finally, the APC spokesman had the guts to question His Excellency, Atiku
\nAbubakar\u2019s source of wealth.<\/p>\n

We wish to remind APC\u2019s National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, that
\nAtiku Abubakar is not like President Buhari who has never run a successful
\nprivate business throughout his life.<\/p>\n

Unlike Muhammadu Buhari, Atiku Abubakar is an expert job creator who has
\nfounded many successful and thriving businesses including the American
\nUniversity of Nigeria, Yola, a Microfinance Bank that has moved 45,000
\nfamilies out of poverty and Rica Gado, a livestock feed company that has
\nsignificantly reduced instances of herdsmen\/farmers clashes by providing a
\nbusiness-friendly solution instead of asking Nigerians to give up their
\nlands for cattle ranching or face death, as the Buhari government did.<\/p>\n

Unlike President Buhari, Atiku Abubakar does not believe Nigerian youths
\nare lazy. How could, when 25,000 out of his 50,000 employees are youths?
\nNigerians should note that we have just listed only a few of the many
\nbooming commercial enterprises founded by Atiku Abubakar. Now we urge the
\nBuhari Presidency and the APC to mention even one successful private
\nendeavour that the President has successfully run. And by private
\nenterprises, we are not referring to 150 cows that never increase in
\nnumber, year in year out.<\/p>\n

The fact of the matter is that no other candidate is as poised Atiku
\nAbubakar to Get Nigeria Working Again. Nigerians want jobs and Atiku means
\nJOBS. It is no surprise that that is one thing the APC do not want to talk
\nabout, seeing as they have lost 11 million jobs in the last three years.
