\nThe Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the International Criminal
\nCourt (ICC) to immediately list the Director General of the Buhari
\nCampaign Organization and Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, for
\ninciting violence with war songs at the All Progressives Congress (APC)
\nPresidential Campaign rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers state on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The PDP notes that the threat of violence by Rotimi Amaechi which came
\nfew days after President Muhammadu Buhari called on his supporters to
\nget ready to fight; as well as the threat by Governor Nasir el-Rufai of
\nKaduna state, who declared that members of the global democratic
\ninstitutions working for peaceful elections will return to their
\ncountries in body bags, have all exposed APC\u2019s plot against peaceful
\nelections in Nigeria, according to a statement signed by Kola
\nOlogbondiyan, Spokesman of PDP.<\/p>\n

“It is completely reprehensible that Amaechi, who had the privilege of
\ngoverning Rivers state for eight years, will resort to importation of
\nthugs into the state and inciting violence, just because the people have
\nrejected President Buhari and his party has no candidate in the state
\nfor the general elections.<\/p>\n

“Nigerians understand Amaechi frustration as a salesman of a failed
\nproduct, in President Buhari, which he also attested to in his leaked
\naudio recording, but seeking to vent this frustration on the
\npeace-loving people of Rivers state is totally unacceptable.<\/p>\n

“Amaechi should have understood that Nigerians, across the board, have
\nrejected President Buhari and reached a consensus to elect the people\u2019s
\ncandidate, Atiku Abubakar, as the next President of our country. He
\nshould know that no form of intimidation, enticement or blackmail can
\nchange that reality.<\/p>\n

“The PDP therefore urges Nigerians to hold Amaechi and the APC
\nresponsible should there be any breakdown of law and order in River
\nState or any other part of our country, before, during and after the
\nelections.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
