In what appears not just a disclaimer but also a caveat emptor, the Department of State Services, DSS, has said anyone still engaging the services Lawan Daura, does so at his or her own risk.<\/div>\n
\n

Daura was the former Director General of the DSS who was sacked after he allegedly ordered men from the Service to block the entrance of the National Assembly and prevent Legislators from gaining entrance to heir offices.<\/p>\n

After his sack, Daura has allegedly continues to work for the Presidency and doing covert operations.<\/p>\n

His activities according to sources appeared to have undermined the current leadership of the DSS.<\/p>\n

In a rare statement of disclaimer, the Service took on the former DG and warned members of the public against his activities.<\/p>\n

The statement read: “The attention of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to insinuations and wide speculations that its former Director General, Alhaji Lawal Musa DAURA mni, still controls affairs at the Agency, long after his removal from office<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhile the Service debunks this false belief, it warns that any person or group that further engages him or his representatives\/associates does so at their own peril,\u201d SSS spokesperson Peter Afunanya said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Service will not tolerate acts of impersonation designed to undermine it and will decisively deal with person(s), no matter how highly placed, that may engage in such behaviour.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe public should, therefore, note this and avoid circumstances under which unsuspecting persons may be,\u201d Mr Afunanya said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
