Opposition Political parties under the aegis of the Coalition of United
\nPolitical Parties, CUPP, has declared that the Presidential Candidate of
\nthe Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, is the only available
\noption for Nigeria’s survival.<\/p>\n
CUPP, in a statement signed by Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere to end campaigns,
\nsaid all the promises made by the Buhari’s administration in 2015 have not
\nbeen fulfilled yet they are making more.<\/p>\n
The statement reads:<\/p>\n
The Nigerian opposition coalition CUPP has after a careful review of the
\nplans, programmes and visions of all the actual Presidential candidates in
\nthe race has come to the unassailable conclusion that\u00a0 Alhaji Atiku
\nAbubakar is the only available option for Nigeria\u2019s survival. The
\nincumbent President after four years can only show Nigerians eight fingers
\nas his only achievements and not a single road, bridge, school, hospital,
\npower plant, water project or other infrastructure initiated and completed
\nthroughout the entire tenure.<\/p>\n
We therefore urge all Nigerians to stand strong in our collective resolve
\nto vote the PDP Presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar come February
\n23rd. This is to guarantee the reclamation of our country from the current
\nscavengers in power who do not care if our country breaks up or burns
\ndown.<\/p>\n
They are still grappling to fulfill any of the promises made to Nigerians
\nand are repeating exactly the same promises again after four years
\nwithout accepting and acknowledging their woeful performance yet
\nshamelessly and arrogantly asking Nigerians to mortgage another four
\nyears of our lives for them to gamble with.<\/p>\n
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar presidency will unite Nigeria, rebuild our economy
\nand strengthen institutions of state so that we can return to the path of
\nprosperity.<\/p>\n
For Nigeria to grow, Nigerians must send President Buhari out of the
\nPresidential Villa with their votes because he is anti-progress,
\nanti-prosperity and anti-growth.
\nPresident Buhari has by his policies and activities divided Nigeria more
\nthan ever before, set Nigeria on the worst level of economy recession and
\nmade lives and livelihood of millions of Nigerians miserable.<\/p>\n
President Buhari is already feeling the heat of his rejection and
\nimpending defeat hence his resort to reckless and childish\u00a0 rigging plans
\nand sabotage of the electoral process.
\nNigerians only have to sustain the momentum and we shall cross the tape
\nvictorious having reclaimed our country from scavengers and spoilers.<\/p>\n
We shall not succumb to their plot to engineer low voter turnout and
\napathy which will enable them to execute their rigging plans. We must
\nredouble our effort to be at our polling units to vote and vote in Alhaji
\nAtiku Abubakar, to get Nigeria working again.<\/p>\n
