{"id":65448,"date":"2019-03-13T17:14:20","date_gmt":"2019-03-13T16:14:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=65448"},"modified":"2019-03-13T17:14:20","modified_gmt":"2019-03-13T16:14:20","slug":"buhari-revokes-shell-oil-licence-targets-danjuma-atiku-adenuga-ibb-orjiako-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/buhari-revokes-shell-oil-licence-targets-danjuma-atiku-adenuga-ibb-orjiako-others\/","title":{"rendered":"Buhari Revokes Shell Oil Licence, Targets Danjuma, Atiku, Adenuga, IBB, Orjiako, Others"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Mohammadu Buhari has directed the Nigerian National Petroleum<br \/>\nCorporation, NNPC to take over the Operatorship of the entire Oil Mining<br \/>\nLLicence, OML 11 belonging to Shell Petroleum not later than April 30,<br \/>\n2019, according to a letter obtained by Pointblanknews.com<\/p>\n<p>The letter dated 1 March, 2019 and signed by Chief of Staff to the<br \/>\nPresident, Mallam Abba Kyari, directed NNPC\/NPDC to ensure full<br \/>\noperatorship of the OML 11.<\/p>\n<p>Oil sources told Pointblanknews.com that Shell petroleum was actually not<br \/>\ninterested in renewing the OML 11 due to the restiveness in Ogoni land.<\/p>\n<p>Pointblanknews.com gathered that the main target in the whole deal is to<br \/>\nrevoke privately owned oil licences belonging to notable Nigerians<br \/>\nespecially those who did not support the second term ambition of President<br \/>\nBuhari and whose licenses are due for renewal in April, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Top on the list are Sapetro Oil, Conoil owned and Seplat.<\/p>\n<p>Sapetro oil owned by Gen. Theophilus Y Danjuma was awarded the Apo Well<br \/>\nwhich can produce 300,000 barrels per day and crude reserve of 500 million<br \/>\nbarrels.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Adenuga\u2019s Conoil controls and operates six oil blocs and exports<br \/>\nabout 500,000 barrels of crude oil daily. These 6 oil blocs are worth $500<br \/>\nbillion.<\/p>\n<p>Seplat Petroleum Development Company was founded in 2009 by billionaire<br \/>\noil magnate and surgeon Dr Ambrose Bryant Chukwueloka \u201cABC\u201d Orjiakor.<\/p>\n<p>Seplat has a 45% working interest in OMLs 4, 38 and 41 which are located<br \/>\nin Edo and Delta States onshore Nigeria.
