The Nigeria Police has revealed the identities of the alleged killers of
\nKolade Johnson.<\/p>\n

The suspects attached to the Anti Cultism Squad of the police command
\nreportedly shot the on Sunday in Mangoro area of the state.<\/p>\n

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Zubairu Muazu, disclosed the
\ndetails of the personnel as Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan and Sergeant
\nGodwin Orji.<\/p>\n

The Force Headquarters also corroborated the account of the police
\ncommissioner by posting the images of the erring personnel on Twitter.<\/p>\n

According to it, the said shooters have been apprehended and subjected to
\ninternal disciplinary procedures.<\/p>\n

Johnson was shot two days ago reportedly by police personnel while
\nwatching a football match.<\/p>\n

A statement from the command on Tuesday disclosed that the police
\ncommissioner revealed the identities of the alleged killers during a visit
\nto the family of the victim.<\/p>\n

Mr Muazu who was received by the head of the deceased\u2019s family, Mr Remi
\nLukman, condemned the action of the members of the Anti-Cultism team
\nsuspected to have carried out the shooting.<\/p>\n

He reiterated his commitment in ensuring that justice was done in the
\nmatter, noting that the said shooters have since been apprehended and
\nsubjected to internal disciplinary procedures.<\/p>\n

The police commissioner prayed for the repose of the soul of Johnson and
\nalso prayed that God would grant his family, friends and well-wishers the
\nfortitude to bear the irreparable loss.<\/p>\n

In his response, Mr Lukman thanked the police commissioner for the visit
\nand his resolve in ensuring that justice prevails in the case.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cI thought it is going to be a one man\u2019s fight but seeing the
\nPolice High Command joining our family in this fight has shown that
\njustice will not only be done to Kolade but to the entire Nigerian youths.<\/p>\n

The family head described his late son as a peace-loving person and called
\non well-wishers to remain calm and allow the law to take its course.<\/p><\/div>\n
