Rivers State Governor,\u00a0 Nyesom Ezenwo Wikehas declared that he will never
\ntake the support of Rivers people forgranted,\u00a0 saying that he will
\ncontinue to work to improve theirlives.<\/p>\n

The interaction between Governor Wike andRivers people climaxed with
\nMarket Women extending gifts to the Rivers StateGovernor in a show of love
\nand appreciation.<\/p>\n

He said: “I will never relent in what weare doing for the people. We will
\nnever take the support of Rivers\u00a0 peoplefor granted. I will continue\u00a0 to
\nwork towards improving the lives of thepeople “.<\/p>\n

He spoke on Saturday\u00a0 when he visitedproject sites in the state capital
\nand interacted directly with Riverspeople for the first time after his
\nelection victory.<\/p>\n

Governor Wike said that he is happy\u00a0 withthe outpouring of love and
\nsupport across Rivers State. The Governor noted thathe is motivated to
\nwork harder for the people of Rivers State.<\/p>\n

“The people gave us the mandate to offerservice.\u00a0 I am happy with the
\noutpouring of love from the people of RiversState.\u00a0 Their love motivates
\nme to offer greater service.<\/p>\n

“We will continue to execute projectsthat will touch the lives of the less
\nprivileged “, he said.<\/p>\n

Governor Wike expressed satisfaction with thequality of project delivery
\nat the Real Madrid Football Academy,\u00a0 JudgesQuarters,\u00a0 Mile One Market and
\nthe Fruit Garden Market.<\/p>\n

Senator representing Abia NorthSenatorial District , Senator Mao
\nOhuabunwa said the celebration ofGovernor Wike by Rivers people is
\ndemocracy in action.<\/p>\n

He said: “You can see how happy I am.This is democracy in action.\u00a0 I don’t
\nthink there is a better way toappreciate the people than to do projects
\nthat will touch theirlives.<\/p>\n

“You can see the outpouring of love,genuine love. You can see along the
\nroad, people came out, market women, taxidrivers, children applauding and
\nappreciating the governor for the good job heis doing.<\/p>\n

“This shows that Rivers State is in God’shands and in safe hands. I can
\nsay categorically that Rivers people are happy”.<\/p>\n
