The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has convicted Walter Onnoghen, who
\nrecently resigned as Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), guilty of false
\ndeclaration of assets; a breach of the provisions of the Code of Conduct
\nBureau (CCB) for public officials.<\/p>\n
Danladi Umar, chairing a three-man panel that delivered the judgement on
\nThursday, also removed Onnoghen from the office as Chief Justice of
\nNigeria and Chairman of National Judicial Council (NJC).<\/p>\n
It also said Onnoghen is to forfeit the money in his five bank accounts
\nthat were not declared to the Nigerian Government because they were
