{"id":66511,"date":"2019-05-07T03:30:20","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T02:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=66511"},"modified":"2019-05-07T12:36:47","modified_gmt":"2019-05-07T11:36:47","slug":"boko-haram-demands-huge-ransom-for-abducted-nysc-corp-member-pastor-2-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/boko-haram-demands-huge-ransom-for-abducted-nysc-corp-member-pastor-2-others\/","title":{"rendered":"Boko Haram Demands Huge Ransom for Abducted NYSC Corp Member, Pastor, 2 Others."},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m4408724792605686895\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<p>Boko Haram Terrorists are demanding huge sums as ransom to release Abraham Abah Amuta, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Member,\u00a0 Pastor Oyeleke, a Living Faith Pastor and two others.<\/p>\n<p>This is even as the newly posted Police Commissioner in\u00a0 Borno State,\u00a0 Mohammed Aliyu just lunched operation Puff Adder\u00a0 to fight terrorism and other violent crimes\u00a0 in the state , on Monday says the poilce is already investigating\u00a0 the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Amuta , a Batch &#8220;B&#8221; Corp Member\u00a0 with\u00a0 Registration Number: BO18B0667, was abducted on the 10th of April alongside his Living Faith Church Pastor Oyeleke and two other church members\u00a0 while on their way to Chibok to distibute relief materials.<\/p>\n<p>A security\u00a0 source who is aware of development and pleaded anonimity disclose that the amount of money the insurgents are demanding as ransom is &#8221; way too high &#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; When I heard the amount the Boko haram group were\u00a0 demanding for the release of the corp member , the pastor and two others,\u00a0 I was speechless because the amount is huge &#8221; the source said .<\/p>\n<p>When contacted in his office on Monday in Maiduguri,\u00a0 the Borno State Capital,\u00a0 The NYSC State Director,\u00a0 Alhaji Rabiu Aminu said the entire NYSC community was devastated by the\u00a0 news of the abduction , stating\u00a0 that the NYSC only got the information few days ago<\/p>\n<p>&#8221;\u00a0 I received\u00a0 a letter from Living Faith Church last week when I returned from Abuja, where I had gone for a meeting, it was contained in the letter that one of our corp member was kidnapped alongside one of the church Pastors and two others .<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; I was devastated when I read the content of the letter ; immiditely,\u00a0 I contacted my management staff and we drafted a letter to our National Headquartes in Abuja which also expressed great concern over the development .
