Nigeria\u2019s notoriously crooked central bank governor, Godwin Emefiele
\nhas reportedly admitted to a scandalous recording published by
\ncrime-exposing website SaharaReporters exposing misappropriated
\nbillions.<\/p>\n

However, while the admission attempted to present the tape as being
\nrecordings from 2015\/2016, the governor must have hoped Nigerians would
\nmiss the clear discussion of refunding the missing monies to hopeful
\nsources in 2019, 3 years later! Below is the excerpt:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just thinking if there is surplus of one naira, just give us
\nthen we\u2019ll refund in 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

The heavily breathing Emefiele was mentioning attempting to call a
\ncertain \u201cMr Ayo\u201d to bail him out. Perhaps this referenced Ayo
\nBabatunde, CEO of Suntrust bank, or some other cabal crony the notorious
\napex bank governor enriches.<\/p>\n

The governor in the recording appeared to be attempting to borrow
\nbillions to offset the budget gap with a promise to make it up in 2019
\n(to the private banks who could lend him) via exchange rate benefits.<\/p>\n

The central bank governor has been branded #CrookedEmefiele for many
\nreasons including his brazen practice of gifting private bank managers
\nand other cabal billions of dollars via subsidized FOREX rates.<\/p>\n

In the audio, this FOREX subsidy scam play was prominently discussed as
\nthe parties discussed how much benefits the cabal had realised from
\nFOREX subsidies as an avenue of offsetting the misappropriated billions.
\nPetrol importing cabal under team Buhari-Emefiele are among those
\nbenefitting from this FOREX subsidy scam which gives them two subsidies
\non the single oil import!!!<\/p>\n

In the audio \u201cMr Ukeje\u201d mentioned this hustle:<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just asking Mr Arowosegbe about their exchange-rate gain, the
\nrate they used for this year they said is already 364 which is already
\nvery high. because if not if it were to be something lower, it would
\nhave increased that \u2026gain by 1 or 2 naira, that will change the whole

The mention of the exchange rate at 364 also exposes the falsehood in
\nclaiming the tape was referring to the 2015 state loans issue. In 2016
\nthe Naira exchange rate was 300. It was set at 364 in 2018 which is when
\nthe tape was evidently recorded.<\/p>\n

CBN in its press release defense of #CrookedEmefiele had claimed the
\ngovernor does not have properties in Dubai. Another hopeless attempt at
\nclearing the notorious governor.<\/p>\n

It is public knowledge that the governor loots Nigeria dry by passing
\nover billions of national earnings to his cronies in banks and other
\nwealthy cabal to hold via the FOREX subsidy scam.<\/p>\n

Former CBN governor and now Emir Sanusi lamented that under Emefiele and
\nthe Buhari regime, the central bank was making billionaires wealthy
\neveryday via FOREX subsidy gifts. The bank sells FOREX to the cabal at
\nunbelievable rates which immediately transfers billions of naira from
\nthe nation\u2019s coffers to the private cabal. See:

A perplexing report by Reuters in 2016 exposed how under his governance
\nthe CBN had transferred as much as 100 million naira to Aliko Dangote in
\nsubsidized FOREX gift in just 11 weeks reviewed. See:

Upon Emefiele\u2019s retirement, he will waltz into the cabal offices and
\ncash his cheques.<\/p>\n

My recent article \u201cIs Buhari Really Seeking a Second-Term for Crooked
\nCBN Governor [1]\u201d described some of the many scams of #CrookedEmefiele
\nwhose demeanor in the recent tape is most shocking, hustler-like and
\nhorribly damaging to Nigeria\u2019s image. The secret CBN reinstitution of
\nCOT rebranded as CAM fines on the masses allowing banks rob the poor of
\nN1 per 1000 at the expiration of the similar COT fine in 2016 is one
\nsuch example. Such \u201cchancing\u201d to feed the fat bank MDs is not done
\nanywhere else in the whole wide world!<\/p>\n

Also damning in the audio was the repetitive mentioning of the
\n\u201copposition\u201d by the bank directors. What? Is the CENTRAL bank of
\nNigeria now a political party? The APC ruling party?<\/p>\n

Nigeria is in big trouble! The chronic appointment of bankers and not
\nfinancial experts from the citizenry, to head the apex bank, continues
\nto keep Nigeria as a nation where the banks in suite with the Apex bank
\nare set up to rob the nation and pauper\u2019s coffers to feed the few
\nwealthy vulturous cabal.<\/p>\n

The opposite of Robbin Hood, a Hood Robber is at the helm of our apex
\nbank. Unlike Robin Hood, this man steals from the poor to give the rich.<\/p>\n

Luckily for him the day is not coming when the poor will have nothing
\nleft to eat than the rich because Nigeria\u2019s poor are too broken to
\nstand up.<\/p>\n
