A Lagos group , Save Lagos Group(SLG) has commended the Kaduna State
\nGovernor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai over his stand on godfattherism in
\nNigeria politics, particularly in Lagos State.<\/p>\n
Declaring support to el-Rufai position, the group maintained that the
\ngodfatherism saga has eroded the State of finest governor in person of
\nMr. Akinwumi Ambode.<\/p>\n
The group also declared that the National Leader of the ruling All
\nProgressives Congress(APC),Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu unfit to rule the
\ncountry come 2023.<\/p>\n
It supported its position with alleged certificate racketing of Senator
\nBola Tinubu tagged “CHICAGOGATE” which is still pending in the Court of
\nCompetent jurisdiction in the land, insisting that Tinubu still had the
\ncertificate saga hanging on its neck.<\/p>\n
According to the signed statement by the Convener of the group, Comrade
\nAdeniyi, Alimi Sulaiman, it commended the Kaduna State governor for his
\nboldness and courage to take the\u00a0 bull by the horns to speak against
\nTinubu on the subject matter as rape of democracy.<\/p>\n
They described Tinubu as self centered leader who only used enthronement
\nof his political godsons in various political offices to enrich himself
\nand his family members, instead of rendering selfless
\nservice to humanity as displayed by the outgoing governor of the State,
\nAmbode.<\/p>\n
They used the opportunity to call on the courageous people of the
\nSouthwest and Lagos State in particular, to rise up against the
\ndomineering tendency of Senator Bola Tinubu by taking their destinies in
\ntheir hands and put stop to the ongoing political slavery in the region
\nand the Lagos State.<\/p>\n
According to the statement “it is high time for the well meaning people
\nof the Southwest region and Lagos State to join hands together to uproot
\nthe modern day political slavery of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is
\nfascist idea for only Senator Bola Tinubu to be determined who gets
\nwhat,when and how in the political space of the region vis a vis the
\nState.This singular selfish action of Tinubu eroded the good\u00a0 people of
\nLagos State, the good works and selfless service of Governor Akinwumi
\nAmbode for the next four years.<\/p>\n

\nof Lagosians in his anti-godfatherism statement against the domineering
\ntendency of Senator Bola Tinubu. The APC National Leader is just doing

Speaking further on the recent Tinubu and his cohorts pilgrimage to
\nlesser Hajj(Umurah), the statement said the pilgrimage was political and
\nnot for religion obligation.<\/p>\n
The statement therefore urged the people of likes mind to come together
\nto lead the struggle for the emancipation of the region and Lagos State
