The Imo state governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has appointed Mr. Beckuochi
\nNwawudu, as Special Adviser on economic affairs, according to a Press
\nRelease signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Chibuike Onyeukwu.<\/p>\n
Other Special Adviser appointed alongside Nwawudu, included Uche Moneke
\nSpecial Adviser (Project Monitoring and Evaluation), Oliver Enwerenem –
\nSpecial Adviser (Technical and Vocational Education) Chijioke Osuji –
\nSenior Special Assistant(Food Value Chain & Program Manager)<\/p>\n
According to the release, “His Excellency, Governor Emeka Ihedioha CON,
\nhas approved the following appointments;<\/p>\n
“Dr. Mrs.\u00a0 Uche Moneke Special Adviser (Project Monitoring and
\nEvaluation)<\/p>\n
Moneke is an accomplished academic and project management specialist,
\nwith a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, M.Sc and Ph.D respectively from
\nthe Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) both in project
\nmanagement.<\/p>\n
She is a respected voice in Quality Management and Control, material
\nmanagement, environmental impact assessment and operations research,
\nareas that have stood her out in project management excellence.
\nPresently a lecturer at FUTO, she has previously been Deputy Director
\nCentre for Research and International Development.<\/p>\n
“Mr. Beckuochi Nwawudu – Special Adviser (Economic Affairs)<\/p>\n
Nwawudu is a security exchange commission approved financial adviser. He
\nhas training in reputable institutions holding Bachelors of Art and
\nMasters of Art degrees from Cambridge University and a Masters of
\nBusiness Administration from the London Business School, all In the
\nUnited Kingdom.<\/p>\n
He has a rich private sector financial career variously working with
\nFirst City Merchant Bank and International players such as ING\/Barings
\nand Daiwa Europe. His areas of competence include financial structuring,
\nmacro-economic, investment and financial analysis.<\/p>\n
He is vastly experienced in equity fund raising, access acquisition and
\nadvisory in the global market. In this capacity, he has handled billions
\nof dollars in portfolio management.”<\/p>\n
“Hon. Oliver Enwerenem – Special Adviser (Technical and Vocational
\nEducation)<\/p>\n
Enwerenem, a two term former member of Imo State House of Assembly was
\neducated at The Polytechnic of Calabar, Imo State University where he
\nobtained a Masters degree in Business Administration (M.B.A) in
\nManagement. His experience is vast with a foundation teaching at the
\ngovernment Technical College , Owerri.<\/p>\n
He has also served on key government committees including membership of
\nthe Presidential Task Force on Procurement and Distribution of
\nFertilizer, Imo State Panel on Local Government Electoral Law Reform as
\nwell as Cordinator, Imo State National Poverty Alleviation Program
\n(NAPAP).”<\/p>\n
“Dr. Chijioke Osuji – Senior Special Assistant(Food Value Chain &
\nProgram Manager)<\/p>\n
Osuji is a renowned expert in Food Science and Technology, a field in
\nwhich he holds Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D degrees
\nrespectively.<\/p>\n
“He has served variously as consultant for strategic institutions and
\nprograms such as World Bank , USAID , African Development Bank (AFD),
\nGolden Guinea breweries , Agro Industry Insurance, amongst others. He
\nhas worked extensively on Rice value Chain programs for the United
\nNations \u2013 FAO in places such as Malawi, Cote d’ Ivoire, etc.<\/p>\n
“A Fellow and former National President of the Nigeria Institute of
\nFood, Science and Technology (NIFST), Dr. Osuji was formerly a Technical
\nAdviser to the Honorable Minster of Agriculture.
\nHe is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of
