The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) describes President Muhammadu
\nBuhari\u2019s ministerial list presented to the Senate today as colourless,
\nstagnant, uninspiring and do not convey any sense of hope or purposeful
\ngovernance under the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n

According to a statement signed by Kola Ologbondiyan,\u00a0 “The party says
\nthat to the chagrin and utter disappointment of Nigerians, the list is
\nreplete with incompetent individuals who failed in their erstwhile
\nministerial assignments and left their ministries in a shambles.<\/p>\n

“Indeed, such a ministerial list can only come from a leadership that
\ndoes not have mandate of the people. It is a complete waste of time and
\ncannot fulfill the expectation of Nigerians.<\/p>\n

“The list has further shown President Buhari and APC\u2019s insensitivity and
\ndisdain for Nigerians and it does not in any way reflect their hope and
\neagerness for a better Nigeria.<\/p>\n

“Furthermore, in recycling failed yesterday\u2019s men for today\u2019s
\nassignment, President Buhari and the APC have left no one in doubt that
\nthey have no vision to move our nation out of the economic and security
\npredicaments into which they have plunged us in the last four years.<\/p>\n

“A committed and responsive leadership would have widely consulted with
\nNigerians before compiling a ministerial list, given the current
\nsituation in the country.<\/p>\n

“If, indeed, President Buhari and the APC mean well for Nigerians and
\nare interested in revamping our critical sectors, they would not have
\nended up with a list of those who will help conceal the huge corruption
\nin the Buhari administration in the last four years, as well as those
\nwho will assist in channeling funds to individuals and groups used by
\nthe APC to rig the 2019 presidential election.<\/p>\n

“Strangely, the list has no space for the youths demography, those to
\nwhom the future is said to belong.<\/p>\n

“The PDP holds that with this development, it is clear that the only way
\nour nation can come out of our present economic and security quandary
\nlies in the retrieval of Atiku Abubakar\u2019s stolen Presidential mandate at
\nthe tribunal.<\/p>\n

“That is the way our citizens will enjoy the benefit of having an array
\nof highly qualified and patriotic Nigerians as ministers to move the
\nnation forward.”<\/p>\n
