{"id":68436,"date":"2019-08-16T15:29:54","date_gmt":"2019-08-16T14:29:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=68436"},"modified":"2019-08-16T15:29:54","modified_gmt":"2019-08-16T14:29:54","slug":"el-zakzaky-wife-return-to-nigeria-whisked-away-by-dss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/el-zakzaky-wife-return-to-nigeria-whisked-away-by-dss\/","title":{"rendered":"El-ZakZaky, Wife Return To Nigeria, Whisked Away By DSS"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gs\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<div id=\":qc\" class=\"ii gt\">\n<div id=\":nl\" class=\"a3s aXjCH \">Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat have been taken into<br \/>\ncustody by security agents upon their arrival in Nigeria today.The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) and his wife were<br \/>\nwhisked away by the security agents at the Nnamdi Azikwe International<br \/>\nAirport.<\/p>\n<p>El-Zakzaky and wife arrived Nigeria aboard an Ethiopian Airlines by<br \/>\n12noon<\/p>\n<p>The couple returned to the country on Friday afternoon, four days after<br \/>\nthey traveled to the Asian country for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>El-Zakzaky and his wife left Nigeria on Monday for India following a<br \/>\nruling of the Kaduna State High Court which granted them permission to<br \/>\nbe treated in the country.<\/p>\n<p>On their arrival at the hospital where treatment was expected to<br \/>\ncommence, the trip turned controversial.<\/p>\n<p>The IMN accused the Nigerian government of treating their leader like a<br \/>\ncriminal and denying him access to the doctor with whom they had an<br \/>\narrangement.<\/p>\n<p>They also claimed that El-Zakzaky was denied free movement and was<br \/>\nmonitored by heavy security surveillance in India.<\/p>\n<p>El-Zakzaky had also narrated his ordeal in the foreign country, saying<br \/>\nthe condition in India was worse than that of Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe saw that we were practically brought to another detention facility<br \/>\nwhich is even stricter than the one we were in back in Nigeria. They<br \/>\ncame here with police armed with guns and a lot of staff from the<br \/>\nNigerian embassy. And we also noticed we were brought into another<br \/>\ndetention that we only came based on trust.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven in Nigeria, they agreed where we were detained that we would be<br \/>\ntreated only by the doctors we choose and are comfortable with allowing<br \/>\nto treat us.
