The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt\u2019s Zonal Office, has commenced investigation of 58 suspected oil thieves;\u00a0 four Vessels, one Barge and\u00a0 two wooden Boats allegedly involved in illegal oil bunkering.<\/p>\n
The suspects and Vessels\u00a0 were handed over to the EFCC by\u00a0 the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder for further investigation and possible prosecution.<\/p>\n
The suspects are:\u00a0 Daniel Faviel Flores, a Mexican; Khrstoliubov Victor, an Ukranian and 56 Nigerian\u00a0 suspects:\u00a0 \u00a0Umoh Emmanuel Etim; Aliu Dominic;\u00a0 Okwong Effiong Ukpong;\u00a0 Talick Uche Epuk; Okon Emmanuel Sunday;\u00a0 Ebenezer Marshal;\u00a0 Awuletey Okon; George Obomate;\u00a0 Johnbull Uroro; Alphonomsus Augustine Ufot; Jerome Adele-ekun; Mathew Jacob; Okoye Kachi Fred;\u00a0 Johnwill Austin Omubo;\u00a0 Utibe Peter George;\u00a0 Dickson Amadi;\u00a0 Uzi Chibueze Benard; Israel Essien; Job Wilfred;\u00a0 Emmanuel Joseph Ohwimu;\u00a0 Chinedu Nwachukwu Opara;\u00a0 Pascal Chinedu Nnaji;\u00a0 Okechukwu Chukwueke; Peter Ogar;\u00a0 Olatunji Julius Adedokun;\u00a0 Alabede Maruf Olakunle and Origbo Tekevwe Godwill.<\/p>\n

The rest are:\u00a0 Tom Wisdom Udo; Fasina Isaac Kehinde;\u00a0 Edo Nsongurua; Cookey Fubara;\u00a0 Ayoka Joseph;\u00a0 Benson Nwaya;\u00a0 Akinfenwa Mike;\u00a0 Ahmed A Shehu;\u00a0 Okojie Favour Osahon: John Flash; Edward Modunwa;\u00a0 Eyione Alex;\u00a0 Onyeneke Wisdom Udoka;\u00a0 Nwokeke Wisdom Udoka;\u00a0 Nwokeke Michael S.U;\u00a0 Anyasi Joshua Ikechukwu;\u00a0 Edward Atorkemo Harrison;\u00a0 Ekpeno Benjamin;\u00a0 Rafi Nura Sani,\u00a0 Thompson Deezua and\u00a0 Edwin Ekpoto Omaretshogunwa.<\/p>\n
It was alleged that the suspects were on board the Vessels when they were intercepted at different dates and locations in Port Harcourt,\u00a0 Rivers State for alleged illegal oil bunkering activities.<\/p>\n
The Vessels:\u00a0 MV Western Orient;\u00a0 MV Temile, AHT Ajemisan and AHT Jascon 23 together with\u00a0 two wooden Boats were intercepted around Onne Anchorage while Barge Hannamarine was intercepted at Okorochiri Creek in Okrika, all in Rivers State.<\/p>\n
