\u00a0Two children, Confidence Ejike ‘f’ aged 5 years and Blessing Ejike ‘f’ aged 7 months old respectively abducted by female suspects and rescued by police in Anambra state have reunited with their parents.<\/div>\n

It would be recalled that on Nov. 22, 2019 at about 1:30pm,following intelligence report, Police\u00a0 detectives in the state arrested two female suspects at Nkpor in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state.<\/div>\n

The State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed while confirming the incident to this reporter, said the children were rescued from child stealing syndicate.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
He said the preliminary investigation by Police detectives attached to Otoucha Division revealed that the two\u00a0 children were allegedly stolen from Enuguwu Aguleri in Anambra East LGA by one Ani Chisom ‘f’ aged 28 years of Amuri in Nkanu-East LGA of Enugu State and (2)Afamefuna Udodili ‘f aged 32 years of Orodo in mbaitolu LGA of Imo State respectively.<\/div>\n

“Following the public announcement by the Command on Nov. 22, 2019, parents of the two kids from Enugu Aguleri came and identified their children.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“They also revealed their names as Confidence Ejike ‘f’ aged 5 years and Blessing Ejike ‘f’ aged 7 months old respectively,” he said.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
According to him, the children have since reunited with their parents and case is under investigation after which suspects would be charged to court for prosecution.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Consequently, the Commissioner of Police, John Abang, urges parents\u00a0 and guardians to monitor\u00a0 their children and caution them against following strangers.<\/div>\n

Mohammed said the Commissioner of Police further enjoined\u00a0 the public to report any suspicious persons to the nearest Police Station or call Police emergency number\u00a007039194332<\/a>for prompt action.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
