Reports that former military President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, is dead, is false, spokesman to the former President, Kassim Afegbua, has said in a Press Statement.<\/div>\n

\u201cIBB alive and bubbling,\u201d Afegbua said.<\/p>\n

Reports on Sunday emerged on social media that IBB died in the early hours of Sunday.<\/p>\n

But in a press statement issued on behalf of the former military Head of State, Afegbua described the news making the rounds as \u2018fake\u2019 and also knocked those who are peddling the rumours.<\/p>\n

He stressed that IBB has not only been personally attending to guests who visited him today in his Minna country home but full of life.<\/p>\n

The statement reads, \u201cIt has become consistent fake news for quite some time now wishing our own IBB, the one we easily refer to as \u201cthe last don\u201d of Nigeria politics, dead.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe \u201cfake news bill\u201d would be a suitable response to this category of fake news carrier.<\/p>\n

\u201cIBB is very much alive and bubbling. He just started attending to friends and associates who came to see him today, Sunday, 15th December, 2019 right here at his Minna Hilltop mansion.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is full of life and in his characteristic bubbling mood.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay Allah forgive those who wish IBB dead. God is the giver and taker of life, not humans. Death, as the irrevocable end of all creation, will surely come to everyone some day and at the appointed time and hour, but to deliberately spread fake news and wish someone dead, is to take humanity to another bizarre level.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay Allah forgive them. IBB, by the special grace of Allah, the omniscient and omnipotent One, shall live to fulfill his journey and destiny in life, to the consternation of those who are always wishing him dead. This is about the third time this year.<\/p>\n
