Rabiu Musa\u00a0 Kwankwaso does not want any other person to shine. I know
\nKwankwaso more than any other person. He is a kind of person that knows
\neverything, knows better than any other person and who is self-centred.
\nWhatever this man asks you to do or to pursue will be for his own
\nbenefit not yours. \u201cI know all his political tricks, deceptiveness and
\ndoggedness but I endured him for all the years we weretogether. He will
\nnever appreciate you for whatever you did to him, be it big or small.
\nWhen we contested election in 1999, \u2018Wallahi\u2019, I was his boss
\nbecause I paid for his political posters and mobilised people for him
\nfrom all the 44 local governments of Kano State. In fact, Kwankwaso did
\nnot win the primary election in 1999, I won the election, but we were
\nreconciled. Ganduje said<\/p>\n

This is a testimonial statement from a horse mouth and it is a proof of
\nwhat many peoples seeing RMK\u00a0 \u00a0as self-centred person. Because whatever
\nkadimul islam said about Rabiu Musa\u00a0 Kwankwaso any right thinking person
\nwill not dispute it having closely works together. At different time was
\nRMK, deputy when latter was a minister they work together.<\/p>\n

The duo, however, drew the battle line shortly after the former handed
\nover to the later on May 29, 2015. Kwankwaso\u2019s alleged quest to
\ncontrol Kano government house from Abuja and Ganduje\u2019s reported firm
\nresistance to godfatherism, snowballed into a deep-rooted political
\nrivalry, which made Kwankwaso to dump the APC and return to the Peoples
\nDemocratic Party (PDP) while vowing to ensure that Ganduje is voted out
\nof Kano government house during the 2019 elections.<\/p>\n

Ganduje versus Kwankwaso tussle began\u00a0 accusations and counter
\naccusations were traded. The two principal actors initially denied
\nanything was amiss, but soon it became a macabre dance in the
\nmarketplace.<\/p>\n

The peoples of Kano witnessed\u00a0 tussle\u00a0 when Kwankwaso\u2019s desire to
\nfrustrate Ganduje\u2019s second-term ambition might remain a mere dream.
\nAside from his tussle with Ganduje, Kwankwaso had dumped the APC for PDP
\nto pursue his presidential ambition and ultimately to create a platform
\nand recruit a lieutenant, with whom to dislodge Ganduje from Kano
\ngovernment house.<\/p>\n

Even at the peaked of tussle, Governor Ganduje remains focussed on
\ndelivering democracy dividends to Kano peoples and\u00a0 has not only kept
\nfaith to his promise\u00a0 of continuing the projects and policies of his
\npredecessor, he had moving on to conceptualisation and consolidation of
\nhis own projects and policies. While Kwankwaso was deluded by his\u00a0 rise
\nto political limelight and his rabid followers do not help matters as
\nthey have spun a myth around him that he wears shoes made of metal and
\nhe could tread on the toes of all \u2013 the mighty and the not-so-mighty.
\nHe even presumed to be undefeatable leader: he can do and undo, he can
\nmake or mar, he can give power to whomsoever he wishes and wrest power
\nfrom whomsoever he wishes. Kwankwasiyya has now crumbled like a pack of
\ncards and the domino effect will extend to remaining supporters
\nKwankwaso\u2019s<\/p>\n

Out of his\u00a0 tricks aimed at making\u00a0 Ganduje’s administration failure
\nover N350 Billion debt left behind by\u00a0 \u00a0Kwankwaso’s administration. Debt
\ncuts across contracts for uncompleted flyovers, roads, and the
\ncontroversial foreign and local scholarship scheme, which amount to over
\nN15 billion. This is not to count the ordinary citizens, civil servants
\nand pensioners who suffered varied indignity during his second tenure
\nbetween 2011 and 2015.Madugu\u00a0 borrowed\u00a0 N4.161 billion from the pension
\nfund to build Bandirawo and Amana Housing Estates and\u00a0 Ganduje’s
\ngovernment is still paying the debt.<\/p>\n

As it could be power intoxication that\u00a0 pushed\u00a0 Sen. Kwankwaso\u00a0 to dare
\nGovernor Abdullahi Ganduje,\u00a0 really its , power intoxicates.\u00a0 And it
\nappears since than\u00a0 he\u00a0 loses his bearing after a sip. Indeed, his
\nhunger to remain perpetually in power, by proxy or otherwise. RMK not
\nleant that many\u00a0 political elite loses their bearing after a sip.

\notherwise.\u00a0 \u00a0Many Peoples wishing to witness this day that where Madugu
\nlose out in the tussle for supremacy of Kano politics.<\/p>\n

Like\u00a0 as the farsighted Kawana in 2019\u00a0 elections voting\u00a0 out\u00a0 red cap
\npuppet\u00a0 candidates by extension RMK out of controlling state politics.
\nAs popular saying any person will reap what he sow, everyone knows that
\nMalam Musa Gwadabe and Senator Hamisu Musa are\u00a0 \u00a0Kwankwaso\u2019s
\npolitical godfather before they parted ways after Kwankwaso had realized
\nhis political ambition and subsequent stardom, DaudaDangalan, the late
\nMuhammad Abubakar Rimi\u00a0 and even some nondescript but rising politicians
\nwho sacrificed their energy, time and resources for his political glory
\nonly to be later discarded them into the dustbin.<\/p>\n

For those who closely follow the political antics of , Senator Rabi\u2019u
\nMusa Kwankwaso, they know that he is always fond of revelling in the
\npolitical misfortune of others and he can go to any length to dig a deep
\nhole for his perceived political enemies to fall into.\u00a0 Kwankwaso was
\nable to\u00a0 cajoled the former deputy governor of Prof Hafiz Abubakar\u00a0 to
\nresigned\u00a0 on the promised that he would give him the gubernatorial
\nticket of the main opposition party only to pick his anointed son-in-law
\nwho is well-known as a puppet political<\/p>\n

Still Kwankwasiyya supporters counting the lost of heavyweights backers
\nof the\u00a0 movement as Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi and other\u00a0 of the state have
\ndemonstrated their resolved in freeing themselves from bandage of
\nKwankwasiyya. Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi is undisputable closet allay of Rabiu
\nMusa\u00a0 Kwankwaso who choice being\u00a0 him at the expense of\u00a0 his
\nSecretaryship to the state government at the onset of tussle for
\nsupremacy of Kano politics. When Madugu left APC\u00a0 joined other
\nsenators headed by Senate President Saraki back PDP Bichi followed him
\nand became Kano state PDP chairman in the state till accepts the offered
\nof hand of friendship extended to them by Governor UA Ganduje after Apex
\ncourt ruling which affirmed his election. With RSB decamp\u00a0 to APC is
\njust like moving back to the fold of his\u00a0 20 years political associate
\nand it’s\u00a0 \u00a0mean\u00a0 Kwankwaso\u00a0 have completely became political irrelevant.<\/p>\n

These are the peoples that makes Kwankwasiyya\u00a0 \u00a0political dynasty to
\nreach its peak with all Madugu closest left him. Its seem like
\nKwankwasiyya\u00a0 have reached the final stage of its active life circle.<\/p>\n

Political observers believe that , Senator\u00a0 Kwankwaso\u00a0 taking all\u00a0 his
\npolitical associate of over 20 years granted and allowing himself yo
\nthink he can do and he can do and undo, he can make or mar, he can
\ndecide what best for them.\u00a0 In Kwankwaso’s recent interview which was
\naired by many radio stations in kano and which was\u00a0 believed to be
\nresponding to Ganduje’s outburst while receiving PDP chairman and a
\nleader of Kwankwasiyya Rabiu Bichi and other members at Government
\nHouse.<\/p>\n

In some part interview,he was trying to identify himself as a defender
\nof traditional institution while peoples will not forgotten when\u00a0 led
\nthe state\u00a0 between 2011 and 2015. The same\u00a0 \u00a0traditional institution has
\nnot been spared from the sharp tongue and disrespect and what\u00a0 is more
\npainful is that his blind followers see nothing wrong in what he does or
\nsays. The business community in the state bear the brunt of
\nKwankwaso\u2019s mischief as his policies while at the helm of affairs
\nretarded commercial activities rather than promoting commerce for which
\nKano has been well-known since time immemorial. But one funny and
\nlaughable now Madugu turns defender traditional institution.

\nIts now indisputable Ganduje is on total control of state political
\nspice during and after 2019 gubernatorial\u00a0 and rerun\u00a0 elections have
\nshown that the vaunted strong political base of Kwankwaso as majorly
\nconstituted by the youth is nothing but a shaky foundation on which the
\nhouse of Kwankwasiyya has been built. If you want to dig a hole of
\nmischief, make it very shallow\u201d for you do not know may be you are the
\none that will fall therein. RMK now is\u00a0 into political eclipse\u00a0 In the
\nwhole of this twists and turns, Ganduje appears to be consolidating his
\nown political base.<\/p>\n
