\nA group of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), youths in the South-West,
\nPDP Youths Congress (PDPYC), has described report of Governor Kayode
\nFayemi led Ekiti APC government\u2019s food items delivered to a hotel in
\nAdo Ekiti owned by the Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial
\nDistrict, Biodun Olujimi, as worrisome, noting that the food items
\nshould rather be seen as personal donation to the senator, not to the
\nPDP in the State.<\/p>\n

According to its release on Thursday, by the Convener, Comrade Oluwole
\nDurojaiye, PDPYC, which said Fayemi only demonstrated that Senator
\nOlujimi was part of the APC government in the State by sending food
\nitems to her hotel, instead of the State secretariat of the PDP in Ado
\nEkiti or residence of the State Chairman of the party, challenged the
\nSenator to clarify her relationship with the APC government in Ekiti
\nState.<\/p>\n

The statement read; last week, we read that Senator Biodun Olujimi
\ntook food items to local government secretariats of APC in Ekiti State
\nas Covid-19 relief package. We also read report of rejection of these
\nfood items by the APC youths in the State.<\/p>\n

Today, we read again that the APC government in Ekiti State took over
\n2,000 packs of food items to Senator Olujimi, in her hotel in Ado
\nEkiti, claiming that the food items were meant for the PDP in the
\nState.<\/p>\n

First, we are yet to come to terms with the rationale behind a PDP
\nSenator, representing Ekiti South, taking food items to APC local
\ngovernment secretariat in Ekiti North and Central senatorial
\ndistricts, which has APC senators. Did APC senators in Ekiti North and
\nCentral also take food items to PDP local government secretariat
\nacross the State?<\/p>\n

Secondly, if the packs of food items reportedly brought to Senator
\nOlujimi\u2019s hotel yesterday, were meant for the PDP in Ekiti State, why
\nwere they not delivered to the State party secretariat or residence of
\nthe State Chairman?<\/p>\n

In the last two weeks, two scenarios that should be instructive to PDP
\nleaders across the country, especially in the Southwest were
\nwitnessed. Senator Olujimi of the PDP took food items to APC local
\ngovernment secretariats for distribution to APC members in Ekiti State
\nand two weeks after, Governor Fayemi reciprocated by sending food
\nitems Senator Olujimi.<\/p>\n

The reality that is presenting itself is that Senator Olujimi has
\nrelationship with the APC government in Ekiti State and the earlier
\nshe is confronted with this and made to make her position clear, the
\nbetter for our party in Ekiti State.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
